** Pikachu, in ''VideoGame/PokkenTournament''. The way he crosses his arms and scowls, it looks like he's trying to imitate [[VideoGame/{{Tekken}} Heihachi Mishima]], and looks all the cuter for it. The similarities to one of ''Tekken'''s poster boys doesn't end there, though: he can also use a handful of Mishima-style Karate techniques. While Pikachu in the main series was generally of this trope, it's more noticeable here.

** Female {{Panda|ingToTheAudience}}ren are also super-cute, and exactly as capable of asskicking as any orc or elf.

* Taokaka from ''VideoGame/BlazBlue'' may not look adorable, and she can be pretty deadly in combat, but just the way she talks and acts in her story mode in a game full of psychos, monsters, and jaded veterans, is just too damn cute.

** If you're a playable TokenMiniMoe, odds are not only are you very cute but also capable of whipping some major arse in the process.

*** Barbara is an adorable IdolSinger, an incredibly sweet NiceGirl, and a [[LovedByAll universally-adored]] [[GoodShepherd Deaconess of the Church of Favonius]], who uses her [[MakingASplash Hydro Vision]] to work as a healer of the sick, and when she fights, it's with sparkles, idol flourishes, musical notation, and rainbows. She also happens to be one ''hell'' of a GlacierWaif, capable of taking and tanking almost anything the enemy tries to throw at her.

*** Fischl is a cute girl who is also a {{chuunibyou}} up the wazoo... And she's a capable and well-experienced adventurer with a raven familiar in [[AnimalCompanion Oz]] and an ability to turn any fight in her favor with her [[ShockAndAwe Electro Vision]] and masterful archery skills.

* ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' has two examples that stick out like sore thumbs compared to the RatedMForManly style of the rest of the cast:

He's also the most stupidly HotBlooded ScreamingWarrior in the series and looks like a fluffy puppy.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactQixing Yaoyao]] is an AdorablyPrecociousChild who [[CheerfulChild always has a bright smile on her face]] as well as [[NiceGirl a kind word for everyone she meets,]] who would rather be playing with [[UndeadChild Qiqi]] or [[GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals her stuffed bunny, Yuegui]] instead of practicing [[BladeOnAStick polearm arts]] in her hometown of Qingce Village. That being said, she's still well-trained enough with her polearm skills that she can take down most anything that threatens her, and her Yuegui dolls are Adeptal Gadgets given to her as a gift from [[Characters/GenshinImpactAdepti Liyue's Adepti]] that can further [[CombatMedic dish out pain or heal allies]] when infused with magic from her [[GreenThumb Dendro Vision]].

*** Hu Tao is a bit of a weirdo as the current director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, but her [[GenkiGirl radiant smile and unending energy]] make her highly endearing nonetheless. Just don't cross her, or she'll use her [[PlayingWithFire Pyro Vision]] and talent with [[BladeOnAStick polearms]] to send you on an express trip to Hell ''early.''

** Also '''Tifa''' from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII''. Although less adorable than sexy, Tifa is a sweet and wholesome girl ([[{{Stripperific}} although she doesn't dress like one]]) who can dish out one of the biggest damage in the game, [[BarefistedMonk with her bare hands]]!

** Leah and Marcy from ''VideoGame/ChronoCross''.

** [[KickChick Chun Li]]. She may be the "strongest woman in the world", but when she wins a match she jumps up and down girlishly and shouts "yatta!"

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactAratakiItto Arataki Itto]] is a tall and handsome {{Hunk}} who also happens to be a very cute ManChild thanks to his enormous SweetTooth, [[NiceGuy kind]] [[BruiserWithASoftCenter heart]], and [[FriendToAllChildren love for Inazuma's children]] (and his AnimalCompanion, Ushi). *** [[Characters/GenshinImpactXiao Xiao]], also known as Alatus, looks like a petite and cute young man at a glance. However, this guy is the [[LastOfHisKind last survivor]] of Liyue's [[Characters/GenshinImpactAdepti Adepti]] known as the Yakshas, known throughout Liyue as powerful demon slayers and exorcists, and [[OhMyGods Rex Lapis help you]] if you get in his way - much like [[PerkyGoth Hu Tao]], he'll use his proficiency with polearms and his [[BlowYouAway Anemo Vision]] to send you to Hell early, but unlike Hu Tao, who will do it with a cheeky grin and a wink, he'll do it with icy precision and [[TranquilFury quiet but still-boiling rage]]. Of all the adorable badasses listed here, Xiao is probably the ''[[TheDreaded scariest]]'' one to encounter for a normal person.

** {{Recurring|Boss}} BonusBoss Galacta Knight is the strongest warrior in the galaxy, [[SealedBadassInACan sealed in crystal]] for fear of his massive power, and one of the few ''Kirby'' characters to have a ''[[AutobotsRockOut rock song]]'' as his theme. He's also a [[RealMenWearPink bright pink]] WalkingHead that's presumably the same species as Kirby [[spoiler:and Meta Knight]].

** At the beginning of ''VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon'', a random Youngster asks Professor Kukui about the battle moves he's studying. After you become the League Champion, that same Youngster shows up to ask ''you'' for advice about battle moves... [[BonusBoss as a title challenger]]!

** Most of the Frost family of ''Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei'' counts. [[SuperpoweredEvilSide Black Frost]] in [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIIINocturne Nocturne]], to [[TheAce Batman fan Frost Ace]] and [[ClothesMakeTheSuperman the adorably-armored Demonee-Ho]] in ''[[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiStrangeJourney Strange Journey]]'', or [[AuthorityEqualsAsskicking King Frost]], with the ''possible'' exception of series regular Jack Frost, who begins as a MascotMook and can badass his way into becoming any of the prior examples.

** Lux is considered the most powerful mage in all of Demacia, being able to fire huge lasers and awaken a colossal gargoyle. She's also a cute, sweet and preppy young woman who's too nice to even TrashTalk her enemies.

** Nunu and Willump are a duo consisting of a energetic young boy and his big, furry yeti-friend. Their "fighting style" consists of chucking snowballs and rolling around in the ice, more playing than battling, yet they're both worthy of being some of the greatest heroes in the Freljord.

** Toby is a {{ridiculously cute|Critter}} [[EverythingsBetterWithPenguins penguin]] [[BirdPeople Aviant]] who rides in a MiniMecha that he uses to [[KillerRabbit devastate enemies on the battlefield]]. His cuteness is his most prominent trait to such a degree that most people don't take him serious much to his chagrin.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactAkademiya Layla]] is a big {{Sleepyhead}} with a penchant for {{Sleepwalking}} and a CuteBookworm ''par excellence'' who spends most of her time cooped up in the Rtawahist Darshan of Sumeru's Akademiya. However, she's still got a [[AnIcePerson Cryo Vision]] that she uses to summon shields with and can use that alongside her knowledge of swordplay to wreck faces and take names should push comes to shove, and her "Star's Blessing" aspect that manifests whenever she sleepwalks is capable of some absolutely ''bonkers'' feats, such as scaling the Wall of Samiel dividing Sumeru's rainforest from its desert on her own and gaining ''SuperStrength''. Layla's adorable and less than five minutes away from conking out asleep, but that doesn't mean she should be underestimated.

* ''VideoGame/MonsterHunter'': The Felynes, a race of two-foot-tall bipedal cat people who have integrated into human society, serving as cooks, farmers and housekeepers. Some of the bravest ones are chosen to become Palicos, assisting hunters in battle by using support items and knocking the hunter out of the way of attacks. Well-trained and equipped Palicos are capable of bringing down large wyverns on their own! Despite the misconception that Felynes are mere {{Battle Thrall}}s, they are actually equal citizens in the human realm, and in fact Felcote was a mere Felyne who attained the rank of Guild Knight; Guild Knights outrank hunters and are responsible for ensuring hunters abide by guild regulations, as well as protecting major population centres from monster attacks.

* The ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER}}'' series is full of this. The main trio in [[VideoGame/EarthboundBeginnings the first game]] are cute little kids, the [[VideoGame/EarthBound1994 second game]] has four of them, and ''VideoGame/Mother3'' has Lucas and Boney.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactKnightsOfFavonius Klee]] is an adorable little moppet and is effectively the honorary little sister of the Knights Of Favonius, who are in charge of keeping an eye on her while her mother is away. Klee also happens to be a [[PlayingWithFire Pyro Vision]] bearer and her main hobby is making very potent ''[[MadBomber explosives]]''. Suffice to say, her badassitutde and adorableness are about even.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactTriCommission Sayu]] is a tiny {{Ninja}} who dresses like a mujina, has a SleepyHead streak a mile wide, and also has some serious HeightAngst, but her ninja abilities are augmented by an [[BlowYouAway Anemo Vision]] and a knack for hefting claymores with it; she may be cute but she's not to be underestimated.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactQixing Ganyu]] is a cute HornedHumanoid [[ChildOfTwoWorlds half-adeptus living among humankind]] with a bit of a SleepyHead streak due to the workload she carries for the Qixing as their secretary and a [[IJustWantToBeNormal desire to be an ordinary person despite her Adeptal nature,]] and is a [[NiceGirl very sweet person underneath her professionalism.]] She's also one of the veterans of the Archon Wars alongside such figures as [[Characters/GenshinImpactAdepti Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper,]] and Liyue's Archon [[Characters/GenshinImpactArchons Rex Lapis Morax]], [[spoiler:also known as [[Characters/GenshinImpactZhongli Zhongli]],]] and she uses her skills in archery and [[AnIcePerson Cryo Vision]] to bring that knowledge and skill to bear against her enemies.

*** Yun Jin may look aloof and graceful at first glance, but underneath that operetta's stage personality is a big and playful sweetheart [[IJustWantToBeNormal who longs for a time where she can show her playful side to the world]]. She's also a masterful DanceBattler who learned polearm arts as part of her stage training and adds in the powers her [[DishingOutDirt Geo Vision]] gives her to add an extra bit of flourish to her fighting skills.

** [[Characters/GenshinImpactTravelerAndPaimon The Traveler]] is the "canon" PlayerCharacter of the game; a powerful warrior from another world searching for their sibling who is capable of unleashing the full power of world's various elements [[EmpoweredBadassNormal without a Vision of their own]] even ''after'' [[BroughtDownToBadass being stripped of their Divine Powers by an Unknown God]], and whether you're playing as [[CanonName Aether]] or his sister [[CanonName Lumine]] both have endearing moments of cuteness throughout the story.

* Klee of ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact''. An adorable little moppet and essentially honorary little sister of the Knights Of Favonius, who are in charge of keeping an eye on her while her mother is away. Klee also happens to be both a Pyro vision bearer, and her main hobby is making very potent ''explosives''. Suffice to say, her badassitutde and adorableness are about even.
