** PlayedForDrama in "The Drop-In." Corey Sykes, a Black comedian, is invited to host the annual Will Rogers Dinner, but his past causes problems, as he made a dark joke about police brutality at a Bartlett campaign event. C.J. goes to dinner with Corey to dissuade him from hosting, and he remarks that he's not just angry at the White House for abandoning him to be called "Hollywood sleaze"--he's angry because Bartlett himself laughed at the joke. Corey took great pride in getting that reaction, but the administration refused to admit what happened and lied that Bartlett didn't respond.
