I've seen some editors make edits that simply change https links to http but nothing else. I'm guessing it's because encrypted links cause problems for some browsers and connections, but every time I see this practice there is no accompanying edit reason, and there's nothing on this page (or anywhere else on this wiki, to my knowledge) that says
