FN don\\\'t sell the [=SS190=] AP ammo to civilians; the civilian loadings are good against Level II body armour, but so are plenty of other handgun rounds (for example, a .44 Magnum round fired from a 6.5 inch revolver barrel will go through 12 inches of ballistic gel \\\'\\\'after\\\'\\\' going through a level II vest). The round\\\'s likelihood of immediate incapacitation when fired from a P90 is fine because it\\\'s an SMG, but it\\\'s rather sucky coming out of a pistol. Nice try there.
