I\'m sorry that I\'ve somehow given you the impression of \"ownership issues\" but this isn\'t the case. I do tend to spend time on the Zootopia pages as it\'s my favorite movie but I don\'t insist that changes are run by me first or that contributors seek my permission.

The issue at hand here regarding the reformatting of page layouts is that recently, on four separate occasions, we have had to deal with tropers making considerable changes to the formatting or layout of the character pages without the courtesy of opening a discussion first. (not to me specifically but to the community of Zootopia editors and contributors). That is just being considerate and a simple \"hey, what does everyone think about doing this...\" is what the discussion area is for.

EDIT: I originally had a longer response here but on reflection I feel isn\'t relevant to the intended purpose of this discussion forum. If [=RasmusSabel=] still has issue and wishes to discuss this further I invite them to PM me.

For example, one of the recent changes was breaking the character page, which had been one big page into the three separate pages we have now, again without the courtesy of a \"hey, what does everyone think about doing this...\" AND they had left the navigation between those sub-pages in a broken state. Once a discussion got started, the consensus was that the three subpages weren\'t really desired, but some kind a break-up was necessary and the effort to clean it all up was more trouble than it was worth so it was left as it was. But had we all talked about it first, we would have probably re-organized it differently.

Regarding the categories, as I said, there have been attempts at categorization before but with over 27 characters, it was difficult to come up with a small set of categories that everyone fit into resulting in either a) 2-3 broad categories and then one big one called \"Other\" that half the list fell into or b) many categories with just one or two entries. Each time, the consensus was that the categorization didn\'t really add value and was removed.

Regarding \"user-friendly\", I try to go out of my way to explain the edits I make to help the original contributor understand that they may have selected a inappropriate trope for the example, or that I\'ve fixed spelling, or found a better trope classification.
