openThe show about a spy family? Western Animation
Anyone remember a show about a spy family? The only things I can remember about it were that there was a mom, dad, and two kids, the show had a lineless style, and there was an episode about the kids wanting to throw a party, they get captured by the villain and his henchman, and when the parents call, the villain and henchman act like they're partygoers. It aired on Nick, I think.
openI believe the title might have something to do with a green fiddle. Literature
Has anyone else remembered a book about three children, one is a clock makers apprentice who wants to make a full working automaton. As in speaking, thinking, walking, the whole ordeal pretty much like a robot. Another is a girl who works as a maid to make money in order to support her sick father and has a really mean boss. It's when she meets one of the guests I believe she's a voodoo queen that her life begins to get better. The third is another boy who is an orphan who plays a fiddle on the streets for money since he lives with other orphans who are watched over by a man who forces them to pay money, and has a pit he throws them in as punishment. He is the one who finds the magic green fiddle that can play music so beautifully everyone falls in love with the music.
openPossible horror anthology episode. Live Action TV
Man gets stranded on the road during a rain storm and decides to shack up with some creepy old couple for the night. They put him in their daughters bedroom who apparently had passed some time ago. Well it turns out the spirit of the daughter seduces the man during his stay. The catch is he can't touch her other than kissing her for reasons we don't know. At some point he does touch her and she becomes this scary grotesque version of herself and kills the man. I can't remember the name of the show or all the details but I remember this coming on TV in the 90's-early 2000's any help is appreciated!
openWorld War I webcomic Webcomic
i remember there was this great World War I webcomic where the actual countries were physically fighting it out. Each country was dressed as a stereotype. I remember one image of Great Britain being pissed off was a trope image for something, but i can't remember what. Thanks!
openA late 90s or early 2000s anime I think Anime
I saw this show as a kid on ADULT SWIM, and I have been trying to find it since and I've had no luck. The scene I remember was a fight between a large muscular man with a crew cut vs. a swift moving man in a trench coat(I think) with hair that came down to about neck level. The man in the trench coat ends up disarming the larger man of his pipe he aquired earlier and shoves it through the larger mans shoulder and the wall behind him, leaving him stuck. The man in the trench coat now proceeds to commend his foe for there duel and says something along the lines of "you may have even won had my ability to not feel pain not given me an edge" or something to that effect. The screen then cuts to a girl(I think) and a robot that moves on wheels that seems to be a pet like creature... I really need to know what this show or movie is! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!
resolved Oldies song Music
I heard this song on the "oldies" radio station. As far as I know, they play songs from the 1950s through the 1970s. The words I remember are something like, "Have you heard the word?" or maybe, "Have you heard about the word?" which was in the chorus of the song. It was NOT the song "Surfin' Bird", nor was it "Have You Heard The Word?" by The Fut (which I found via web search). The song was mostly sung by a man, but there were backup singers as well, at least some of whom may have been women. After singing, "Have you heard the word?" the next line included a slang word that sounded a bit dated, but I can't remember what the word was. It was something like, "Have you heard the word? It's funky and groovy and fills you with joy" or somesuch example, since calling something "groovy" is a bit outdated. I don't remember much specific about the song, but I'd guess it was post-1960 hippie-inspired rock and roll, you might call it folk rock. It sounded similar to what I've heard from Grateful Dead.
I may have the words wrong, it could have been anything like, "Did you hear the word?" or something similar.
Edited by FerrousFaucetopenI can't remember the name Live Action TV
It was about a group of people from different races traveling together, where the races were normally enemies (fantasy races; elves etc.) It's fairly new, I think it was released late last year.

I remember a story I read as a child. There are a man and woman (perhaps prince and princess) one of whom only wakes during day, and one only during night. They meet during twilight and fall in love. I had thought it was by George Macdonald but I can't find it among his works. Does anyone else remember a story like this?
Edited by GaladrielopenMovie my mother watched Film
She said it was called "Thomas Sina" but she wasn't sure on the spelling, tried looking it up and couldn't find much. Other than that, it'd have to at least 50 years old and she saud it was about a girl and her cat.
open90s - early 2000s show on Candian tv Live Action TV
Do you remember a show from like early 2000s or something about this little blonde girl who would plan these elaborate dinner parties for her friends but she would go into this part of the house that had a full rainforest where she would explain where certain ingredients come from and then they would go off and show clips from local places of where other ingredients come from?
openChildrens show about some living cars Live Action TV
Kids TV show from the early 2000s (most likely because I was a kid and watching it then) about a group of vehicles that talk to each other, and I think they could talk to buildings too. I remember it looking like it was permenently evening, and most stuff was rusted. I think the main character was a tow truck. Definitely aired in the UK. Not really a cartoon but not live action either, I think it was stop-motion.
openNo Title Film
I once caught this movie on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) and I haven't heard anything about it or seen it ever again. It's a super long movie about a restaurant, maybe with a cowboy theme? It focuses mostly on the people who work there. It's not Clerks (everyone always tells me that's what I'm talking about!) but it might have a similar title, or the title might also be the name of the restaurant. I know this is vague but it always bothers me that I can't find it!
openNo Title Film
This one is a long shot.
It aired I am almost certain in 1999-2001. More likely 2000 or 2001.
It was a made for TV film or a short series that was - if I remember rightly - shown in about 2 or 3 parts. It aired on British TV channel ITV.
It was set around World War I and involved a young man who was executed by a firing squad for desertion. I remember there being a distraught young woman learning he was to be executed. They were lovers.
At least one of them was French. And the name Etienne rings a strong bell.
Hoping someone can help me out as this has been driving me mad for a little while.
Thanks
openShort story or novella
I'm trying to find a short story or novella I read a several years back. It's about two authors: Author A is well respected and successful, but his career has stalled due to a bad case of writers block; Author B is writing really good stuff, but he got rejected too many times early in his career, and now he can't get publishers to take him seriously. Somehow they team up, publishing Author B's work under Author A's name. I don't really recall what happens after that, but I feel like they got into some shady stuff, maybe killing one or both of their wives? Possibly published as part of a larger anthology. Any help is appreciated.
openFrench-Canadian Children's Show Live Action TV
I remember watching episodes of a show back in grade 1. It was around 1999-2000 and it was in French and most likely a French-Canadian show. It featured the adventures of a little girl and the one thing I remember is that the intro featured a brief clip of the little girl on the toilet (everyone in my class used to laugh when this scene would happen).
openUnknown Live Action TV
Kids show somewhere in the later 2000s that I have yet to find the title of, though I loved it as a kid. I vaguely remember it being odd for a kids show, I remember garbage filling the frame as a backdrop and then a human shaped garbage figure moves in stopmotion. One episode I remember had a skit in which an animated hotel showed characters in silhouette of each window, it was meant to be scary I believe. There was also a narrator that spoke from time to time. I think doors opening was either in one episode or commonly used to transition from skit to skit.
opencomedy music Music
What is that song often used in comedic chase scenes? this video has it at about 13:30 https://vimeo.com/110219399
openBoy with robot arm Western Animation
I used to watch when I was little. It was about a boy with black short hair who had these robot cell things in his blood that would allow his arm to change into stuff. His sidekick was a talking monkey who would shoot guns and he had a secret agent man watch over him. They would fight bug like monsters while he would search for his father.
Do you remember a tv show (it wasn't animated and it aired in Australia but it was probably American) and I think it was late 90's early 2000's (I could be wrong) and I'm certain it aired on Disney Channel and it has these kids who were friends at school and they worked in a shed at one of their friends places and I think they had an invisible dinosaur and they always got into a 'confuffle' with this dinosaur and the kids were very science-y. Sorry for a bad description but that is honestly the all I can remember.
