Definition Disfunction: Showy Invincible Hero

This trope needs to be cleaned up because many of the examples give are simply relics of the fact the heroes (almost) always win, otherwise you'd have a very short show with a very abrupt ending. I think people in many cases are mixing the near inevitability of the heroes eventual victory up with being invincible. Being Invincible means that even from the POV of the characters in setting, results of the battle are apparent from moment the hero steps onto the field.
