Yes Conjuration creates solid material objects. But that's it's main purpose creating objects, one's that don't tend to move on their own.
Creating Nen Beasts and Constructs is generally done by Emitters or Manipulators using emission to create controllable constructs. (As they are next to each other on the chart it's easiest that way.)
Examples Goreinu's Gorillas, Knuckle's APR, Morel's Smoke, Razor's Devils.

Then for what M84 was talking about Conjuration with Manipulation makes more sense than Emission and Manipulation.
Conjuration and Manipulation is very ineffective because of how far from each other they are on the branches for everyone but specialists. To make something do work for him it would be best to be an emitter or manipulator. Particularly if he wants to make the thing that does the work himself.

It's less effective than Emission plus Manipulation, but it's not super ineffective. And things like that seem to matter less the more proficient you are with Nen. Plenty of skilled characters show great skills with Nen types that aren't their own, or adjacent types.
Manipulation is the best starting point, though.

Ah so I'd either be a brute forcer or create beings to do my bidding.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I should probably specify that I'd prefer Conjuration over Emission because I'm also too lazy to make the effort of giving out orders to Nen beasts. I'd rather just make a magical appliance like Shizuku's Blinky. Emission also seems like it's more effort than Conjuration.
I think I'd go for a Conjured self-driving car. Bonus points for being able to transport other people without looking too weird, since Conjured objects can be perceived by people who can't use Nen. To them, it'd look like any other car. And since it's a Conjured object, customizing it would be a breeze.
I'm still pondering what sort of limitations I'd put on it to increase its performance. I'm thinking things like no cupholders or a radio station stuck playing music I hate.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI too would prefer conjuration, but from the personality system, my sense of humor would leave me as a transmutter.

Hiatus X Hiatus returns.
Mileena MadnessWell, I suppose it was inevitable.
Oh, I just realized. Morena being part of the succession war explains why there were 14 coffins hooked up to that weird machine, not 13.
I thought there were 15 princes in the war to begin with. But I only remember like 2 or 3 of their names, so getting other details confused isn't surprising.
She's not. Bastard princes can't compete. The 14th capsule's role is a mystery.
There is a massive infograph to help keep track of things. Can't remember the link to it, but it's easy to find.

/searches up said infograph
There are 14 Princes competing, guys. Well, 13 now that Momoze is dead, but still, 14 is the expected number of capsules.
Found it. Hasn't been updated for chapter 380 though.

Sometimes it's joked that chart maker vs Togashi is the biggest battle of this arc.

Any guesses on the first Spider Hisoka kills? I don't see this ending without him offing at least a couple of them. Thinking about it, I'm a bit surprised we haven't seen him yet.

Franklin and Shizuku are the ones that needs to be careful. The former because he's decided to wait, out in the open, by himself, for Hisoka to come to him. The latter because her fortune said she was gonna die, and everyone else that was true is for is dead already.
We're assuming the winning Prince goes in the center pod and absorbs power from the corpses somehow. Since Morena being part of the war was apparently a mistranslation, the King is once again the prime suspect for the last coffin. That seems weird though.
Something else unrelated that's always bothered me: they said that Genthru's Countdown ability combined conjuration, emission, and manipulation. I get conjuration and emission, but where did manipulation come into play?
I don't think That actully is in play.
Does anybody like the fact they're addressing that the Succession War and the number of Nen users on board is inevitably going to lead to total anarchy and chaos?
I'm genuinely looking forward to things going to hell and all-out war breaking across the entire ship.
I'm also curious if the 'Nen after death' concept is going to factor into the Princes. What if one of them dies but their parasitic Nen beast remains around after death? How would that affect things?
What is this comment even in reference to?
Forgot the arrow. But I was saying I don't think manipulation is actully in play in Countdown. I think that is just a mistake on the wiki.
It is isn't. I reviewed the chapter listed in the citation to make sure.
Could someone cite said chapter in their edit reason while fixing the wiki page?
Probably an emitter, or if not, an enhancer.
