Actually, a good comic could also take the opposite path, by having the genuine eyewitness having her testimony called into question based on flimsy grounds, other "eyewitnesses" whose claims "debunk" hers and are totally more credible than hers (Bribery? What's that? Nothing to see here, folks!), and ultimately ending with her booed and painted as a lying liar of a woman who wants to destroy a perfectly law-abiding man's life either to advance a political agenda or just for the sake of getting attention and undeserved sympath.

TL;DR The Brett Kavanaugh fiasco.

It's only a fiasco if you think he did it. What if a man who did nothing wrong was cleared of charges by the legal system because there was no credible evidence to condemn him and nothing more?

I can't get over how ridiculously over the top Tats is getting in his treatment of males.

Squig is trying to "better" himself by getting rid of his porn collection / addiction by burning it.

He then accidentally dropped a porn dvd in front of one of its actresses through a series of contrived coincidences and Tats is treating him like the avatar of Rape because of it.

The flagellation of Squig has reached levels so crazy that he's turning himself over to the police for what I can only assume are self-imposed rape charges.

The only thing that can make it more hilarious is if the cop would pretend there is nothing wrong with rape.

Squig might need to "grow a pair" ... He has none of the secondary sexual characteristics that an adult boar would present. The odds are he was neutered as a juvenile.

It's interesting that the cop does consider being a pimp or john something that might be arrestable. Is the Bomf District legal or not? More of Tat's patented inconsistently incoherent messages.

Well, it looks like the cop might be turned into a strawman, just to beat the message over.

Honestly, the only reason I'd consider accepting Squig's argument, were I the cop, would be if he followed with "Actually, I'm guilty of bestiality - all the characters in my porn were human girls, and I'm a pig!"

I find this plot pretty funny, honestly. This is the sort of ridiculous dramedy that suits Squig well. It would not be out of place in classic Sinfest.

I like that cop guy. I imagine him seeing all kinds of insanity pass by and just become so adjusted to it over the years!

News flash: The GOP-dominated panel didn't even try to properly investigate the matter. They deliberately constrained the investigation so much that there was no way it could've turned up anything remotely incriminating. They buried it before it even started while not giving any illusion of respecting due process.

And for the record, almost every argument that Kavanaugh used to defend himself was proven to bullshit... with several of them being due to some of his male college friends/classmates stepping up on their own initiative and pointing out that he's blatantly lying (e.g. that he never got drunk during his college days).

I'm leaning towards inconsistency, to be honest. The cop's questions reflect the actual state of US law on the subject, but also contradict the in-universe status quo regarding the subject.

I'm pretty sure being a pimp is illegal in the US at least. I don't know about Johns, though.

And yes, the plot IS insane. But again, that is a fitting plot for Squig, who tends to get the best comedy out of insane plots.
