What if they golf so hard they can't golf anymore, only to decide to master another sport instead?
Maybe Aoi decides to pivot to golfing video games
Exactly my point. If golfing hard enough can cure one medical conditions, clearly they can resolve their current issues by golfing harder.
I'm guessing I'm just cynical from too many tragic Yuri endings

For what it's worth, I've seen a lot of anime by Birdie Wing's writer and he usually goes for happy endings.
Episode 11: Looks like it’s Juha vs Eve for the final round.
What a perfect finale. Love of Golf Wins. Can't believe that they made one of the final villains a literal Karen.
Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of all the soap opera BS with the failing bodies, but the final golf match with Aoi as Eve's caddy was perfection. They even made Shining Rainbow Burst, which is like their baby.
I know they did a timeskip ending but I'm still hoping they can maybe do an interquel/sequel of sorts.
Eve's 3-year banishment isn't really that much punishment.
It just means she restarts her pro career at the ripe old age of 19
I do wish we'd gotten a bit to how Juha reacted to the entire event. Being outplayed but winning on a technicality must have been rough on someone who seems to be as proud and confident as she comes across.
Aoi with the short hair.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Juha definitely looked conflicted at the end there.
I enjoyed the finale, but I'll admit it wasn't quite peak Birdie Wing.
Personally, I'm a little disappointed by the relative lack of Eve/Aoi in the last third of the show.
And I think it could have really used some more underground golf shenanigans since we didn't end the show with a full Eve versus Aoi match.
While I did like Juha, I think her gimmick was a bit too boring for the end of season opponent.
If we don't get to end the season with Eve vs Aoi, I would have either had Juha the penultimate opponent, followed by a sufficiently insane golf mafia plotline, or have them take place concurrently.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI would have scrapped the disease subplot entirely
The story just hasn't really been building toward a tragedy, though. The health issues feel more like a hurdle to be overcome, but I don't know how they'd do that
