"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well in Donna’s case they just have to pick a single origin & stick with it.
Though this is interesting. Yara has effectively no mythology to call her own so unless the comics has already written a ton of backstory for her, the show will be building this character from the ground up.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It'll be a while before the show gets to air, though.
Casting, location scouting, rehearsals and so forth.
The first issue with the character is supposed to come out in January. The pilot probably wont air until 2022. So they have some time.
I wonder if they'll make reference to Legends of Tomorrow and Helen of Troy, who went to Themyscira.

"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoI am curious whether the idea of using both Grecoroman and Brazilian myths to build Yara's own lore would be practical. Just bouncing ideas.
Wake me up at your own risk. One way or the other, I'm sure it will cross-over eventually.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Geez, I haven't read any of Yara yet, but this still sucks to hear.
