Yes, you read that right, the Arrowverse is gonna get a new member. And get a load of this: The comic book counterpart hasn't even debuted yet xP

I'm happy either way.

Well, I guess if they managed to navigate their way through the horrific Continuity Snarl that is the Hawks'... everything... they could potentially do with Donna.

Well in Donna’s case they just have to pick a single origin & stick with it.

Though this is interesting. Yara has effectively no mythology to call her own so unless the comics has already written a ton of backstory for her, the show will be building this character from the ground up.

It'll be a while before the show gets to air, though.

Casting, location scouting, rehearsals and so forth.

The first issue with the character is supposed to come out in January. The pilot probably wont air until 2022. So they have some time.

I wonder if they'll make reference to Legends of Tomorrow and Helen of Troy, who went to Themyscira.

There's no confirmation yet about whether it'll be set on Earth-Prime, on Stargirl's Earth, or on an Earth of its own.

I am curious whether the idea of using both Grecoroman and Brazilian myths to build Yara's own lore would be practical. Just bouncing ideas.

They've got a ridiculous amount of shows as is.
