Cause riders had them as extreme gear vehicles that could be picked for characters like Eggman

Finally started reading through the comic - rather than just reading parts of it to get the gist of the story. Or at least, I've gotten through most of it thus far. I haven't gotten to any of the Surge stuff yet.
Some reactions:
- I would totally play a Tangle game. I could imagine the gameplay being something like a mix between Ristar, Bionic Commando and that Marsupilami game that came out a bit ago. A Tangle & Whisper game would be even better.
- They definitely greatly improved the Deadly Six.
- The concept of the Restoration always made me wary hearing about it, because I always felt the concept of the Freedom Fighters from Archie didn't really work in the main Sonic universe and on paper it sounded like an attempt to remake them in the game universe anyway. But they feel very much different than that and the comic makes it clear exactly what they're about (rebuilding the world after Forces, rather than being a military necessarily).
- In general, I can see what people mean when they say this series softens the issues with Forces a great deal: the entire premise of the series is built on the aftermath of Forces and how it affects everyone in the world.
- I love Belle, and would like her to meet Sage at some point.
- Starline is a great villain. I already know he eventually dies, but I wouldn't be surprised if Flynn eventually introduced more animal-folk villains in the games given his success.
- Basically every character is used very well. I'm hoping for more Knuckles, as he sits these stories out a lot so after, but characters like Rouge that I'm used to seeing forced to be offscreen since her concept doesn't mesh well with most games' plots get to stretch their legs so much and do it well. His Amy in particular is great, and it has me wishing he'd been allowed to write her a bit more like this in Frontiers.

I'm still in the middle of the Metal Virus arc and it's pretty interesting so far. I'm waiting for the newest Ultimate Collection volumes to come out to read the rest of the stories. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the stories with Surge and Kit.
