Chap 106 out. They escaped faster than I expected, but then again they kinda had to. Now I suspect we won't be told Lucas and Yuugo's fate before a while. And there's still the problem of "where the fuck do we go now?" So out of the pan, into the fire, basically.

Well, this actually went fairly smoothly.

I mean should killing another human actually affect them? I guess Emma, because she's weird, but most of the others too?

I feel like they'd all mostly be in the mindset of "enemies have to be eliminated" at this point.

Frankly, I am amazed Lucas and Yugo have not punched their tickets yet.

Well wait & see they might next chapter.

To be honest I want them ot live. They are actual characters so I wouldnt enjoy it as itd leave Emma, Ray and two others amongst these dozens of who gives a crap.

I might be the only here who thinks Andrew killed Phil. The rules of Grace Field were meant to be that any kid who learns the truth gets shipped out. Especially now that they've had an escape. Andrew could learn about Minerva's books from Phil, if he knows how to interrogate a desperate five-year-old. Aside from that, Phil is a danger to the Ratri clan's reputation, and has knowledge that could spark another escape. No way would Andrew risk that on his record. Any kid who knows the truth is a threat to Andrew's job of maintaining the status quo, which is why he can't be reasoned with.

Well, Lucas, you were my second favorite character. Your story showed the struggle of preserving ideals in a world where survival comes first. You were able to help others, knowing they could die. Yugo, you started as a villain who could only be controlled with the threat of blowing up the shelter. Now you're going to die ironically, defending those kids you finally decided would be your family. But it had to be you, because this job required a character who was willing to kill humans. Die fast, guys. You don't want this to hurt.

Unless we see the death, you shouldn't assume the death happened. I feel like that should be obvious at that point.

Although, there were still people surprised to see Norman still alive, even though it was obvious we weren't done with him, so who knows.

So, what, Andrew brings Phil to the facility that Adam probably threw a computer through the wall of? What else was Andrew going to do there? He says he killed all the supporters. Was he safer saying them he captured them alive and telling the kids to come quietly? By calling himself a murderer as a bluff, he's asking the good guys to try and kill him. It's so harmful a lie that it makes more sense as the truth.

Nice quick death. Don't forget to lure all six mooks back in.

I'm sure something happened with Phil, but if he was dead, they'd just show them killing him. You don't need to cliffhang things of this nature if the conclusion is supposed to be obvious and then, what do you know, it's exactly what you thought.

When he said he killed all of their supporters he was talking in a very specific, clear, context. Phil isn't a supporter, he's just another cattle child like the others.

(Shrugs) perhaps I'm too simpleminded to think of what I would do with Phil were I in Andrew's shoes. I doubt he could pull a Norman; we have an Adam roaming about with Norman's number on the melon-sized brain.

Offscreen? No. If it happens, we'll see it. Worst case scenario, he's now where Norman is.

I know it's easy to forget but… this is published in Shonen Jump. They'd never allow the authors to off a 5 year old ki… oh wait. >.>

Less stupid, how much distance would you say there is betwee the shelter's main entrance and the emergency exits? Because that underground maze look pretty damn huge…

Yeah, you might have underestimated those "cattle kids", Andrew… I actually wonder, has Andrew always worked for the Ratri family or did he start as cattle like the Moms?

I'm expecting Andrew to turn the tables somewhat, but Yugo and Lucas are awesome.

So the only new characters with personality from the previous arc are dead. Terrific.

That can be a problem, yes.

Welp, they did blow themselves up, but not in the way I expected. I think we would have needed some kind of shot showing us the gas tank beforehand though. The way it was done seemed a bit out-of-nowhere.

By the way, it seems like every arc so far has ended with its location being destroyed in some way. Truly these kids are terrorists.
