Well this summer (story wise) is over and I don't think there's be any significant amount of after event stories so I'm just going to look forward to swimsuit costume idoru Douman out to take his vengeance of being left in the sand for a year. Mami will now switch back to more amicable mode, it's not like I expect anymore male servants thid year so I won't be petulant for the rest of it.

Wonder if one of those costumes will have a redux in their ascensions.

That aside I'm sure Asuza will have fun either way.

As for suits, I only really find them sexy is they come with suspenders. Otherwise they're kind of bland.

Actually, specifically suspenders with those cummerbund things around their waists. That combo is supremely powerful to me, a guy taking off his suit jacket, striking a pose and pulling at his suspenders? 10/10, I'm in love.

Plus they feel so snappable hahaha

Mami playing FGO is dying of thirst in a desert.

It can be the pretender Titania-Blance alt some people were clamouring for at this point for all the hints we have to go on.

I'll just migrate to granblue for the time being, they actually release cute new male units semi regularly and there's a dragon knights event that'll probably have my beloved Percival coming soon.

Edit: In hindsight, things might have actually been getting worse as the years go by. I get tricked by periods like last year with Nemo, Hajime, Nobukatsu, Douman, Santa Karna and Muramasa and then it turns into a barren wasteland again. I guess it's fortunate that my investment is mostly the story then. I just want some consistency, I want actual swimsuits, I want them to be a bit more even in the fanservice so that I don't have to be decoding whether or not certain lines are more than platonic or I'm just desperate, I want CBC to go back to releasing male servants instead of costumes, I want male characters who show romantic affection in valentine's scenes and voice lines to actually express it outside of those two. Of course it won't matter if I complain, people have been complaining for years but they always get drowned out by male players in these kind of games so nothing ever reall changes and even when it does there's no guarantee that it won't regress or get worse.

I said I wanted to return to being amicable since the story is over, but it's overly irritating the more I think about it. The more one thinks about it. And it's not even just a FGO thing every non-joseimuke gacha game has this problem to varying degrees.

Granblue in particular is rather inclusive; you got Cis, Trans, Homo, and Het and everything in between.

Its actually extremely surprising for a Japanese Gacha in this day and age.

If granblue more consistently had writing I enjoyed, Vyrn was mute and wasn't so bad at making its self insert feel like they're actually present in 80% of events I'd probably just completely abandon FGO for it, probably. It gave me lovingly drawn Shiva ass for summer, FGO would never.

That said, it still has a very obvious bias so it's not like it's off the hook either. It's just better about it than FGO which is so bare minimum that it might as well be better about male fanservice than azur lane.
