Maybe so, but I think other shows do it a bit better, I guess? This really feels like checking off a list of girls.

Yeah, I'm confused with the villains here. I would like some exposition on their motives and plans and stuff like that.

Each girl getting a focus arc is standard for the genre, it's not until S2 or OA Vs that the true Harem Hijinks can truly begin.
