I gotta say, a singleplayer guided tour of the battlefields? Pretty darn good idea.
A look of the the game's implementation of the visuals of The Iron Brigade.
Kinda silly to watch a squad march in step while about 10 feet in front of a cannon with their rifles at rest though...

I didn't see any cannons but I did see air bursting shells which were a thing by that point.
Who watches the watchmen?Which was definitely fired from a cannon. It's right behind the cloud.

Ahh I missed right at the beginning. Had to watch it on youtube to see the video in larger screen, I hate the video size on the forums sometimes. I doubt that is what will happen in general gameplay though and could just be for show. No bayonets and one shooting looks like they just set them to deliberately march forward to get blasted. The group was also pretty small. Just how big are the battles supposed to be?
Who watches the watchmen?I don't recall them talking player count, but I haven't watched it too closely.
I am hoping they can be as big as the ones in battlefield. Those get to be some pretty serious fights.
Who watches the watchmen?Playable alpha segment "Drill camp" incoming.

Interesting. It looks like the battles can be bigger then the earlier vids which is promising.
Who watches the watchmen?I did not think it'd be two years since the last post that this would release on Steam (early access), but game development takes time after all.

Yep. They'll reveal the stretch goals tomorrow.
