A leak for a French DVD set pairs DC League of Super-Pets with the also leaked Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too!
'Velma' has been officially renewed for a second season.
It will release on Max in 2024.
Boo indeed.
Though maybe they will take the criticisms of the show to heart and make some adjustments
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyI'm pretty sure all of season 2 is written by this point and 26 episodes was the plan from the start.
It's the hypothetical season 3 you have to look for changes in.
The 26 episodes were commissioned from the start. I doubt any changes will be made.
Oissu! To change the discussion from the dread of 'Velma' season 2.
What are your thoughts on a Ghoul School spin-off?
Should it focus on just the fan-favorite girls or should Scooby and Shaggy be included?
Sincerely S Awatching.Maybe it could focus primarily on the girls with the gang and Scrappy occasionally guest starring.
"I am the lord of Purity, who tolerates no deviation." My first online storyIt should probably be its own thing, though I doubt the execs would like that.
Standalone spin-off with the Mystery Inc. gang guest-starring in an hour-long special where Shaggy and Scooby show the gang around and end up having to solve a mystery (naturally). Throughout, Velma is impressed by the lengths the scaredy-cats of the group are going with this "school for monster girls" prank.
At this point, I fear were they to do a Ghoul School series, it would be accused of being derivative of Monster High even if it wasn't. And yes, I know Ghoul School came first, but that doesn't matter in the least to the folks who'd make that kind of argument.
That said, I'd welcome a Ghoul School series, especially if it aired on CN, which desperately needs something new, in my opinion. I don't really see that it'd need to be tied to Scooby Doo at all.

How in the world can a show like Velma be renewed for a second season? Especially with all the hate this show got.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I'm almost entirely sure the "second season" is actually the second part of the episodes ordered. They were working on both "seasons" in a block and by the time the negative reception of the first "season" came out, it was too late to abandon ship.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.To play devil's advocate, maybe they didn't feel the need to scrap it because it actually did well? Like, if the first season actually had poor viewership, it would have gotten the axe. Shows with both good ratings and positive buzz have been unceremoniously removed from HBO Max before (we all remember last summer), so if Velma wasn't doing well, I can't see them committing to another ten episodes as opposed to cutting their losses to save money.
They ordered two batches worth in advance and have contractual obligations to meet.
Say that to Supergirl.

He's clearly more hands on.
One Strip! One Strip!I was rewatching Camp Scare and out of everything I expected the franchise to do, I never expected the nerdy camper who has asthma to turn out to be an evil gangster in disguise.
Well some good news is that episodes of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and The New Scooby-Doo Movie are now on Tubi TV. So yeah good content legally free and isn't on any other service.
Also Scooby-Doo and Guess Who if you don't have Max.
Trailer for Scooby Doo! And Krypto, Too!
Wake me up at your own risk.Oh, I thought this was written off and only available illegally. Good that it's actually coming out!

Also speaking of Nibiru...anyone else feel he was a little underwhelming? The Entity is an awesome concept as the mastermind of Mystery Inc and their foes, this grand chessmaster, but he's really not much of a character.
I would think the master of all these supernatural themed villains would have a bit more personality than "eat, consume, grow strong!" Even old Jacques and the Phantom Virus had more character than this. You could even give him a gleefully dark version of a classic line: "And I would've been trapped and powerless, if NOT FOR YOU MEDDLING KIDS! That's right, I coined that phrase!"
And the show only focuses on his influence on the Gang and their associates. What about his connection to every supervillain Mystery Inc unmasked? It seems Nibiru finds someone with a chip on their shoulder to feed into their ego and insecurities, implanting the idea that they should become monsters to gain power and respect through fear. Also are the monster personas all conceived by the crooks, or is Nibiru giving them ideas, being a real dimensional monster himself?
