It's my understanding that no definitive judgement has ever been given on whether character tropes can/should be duplicated on main work pages. Obviously with huge, wiki-breaking pages they shouldn't, but with smaller pages it's less clear cut, and I've seen both used and both advocated for and against.

I don't about you, but I think it's weird that we have pages that list characters and tropes associated to them, while a number of those same tropes get listed in the work pages.
Wouldn't that be redundant?
