Playing as Mesa, though, I love it when there's a Limbo. Mesa can safely use Peacemaker without being shot at and just chill in the bubble to regen her energy. Hell, she doesn't even need the bubble; just Banish Mesa and she's good to go.

Also having a slow/fastva with chaos nyx is great; just prime the enemies and let them blow up themselves. Throw in a Sporyn in there enjoy the carnage.

At what levels enemies can kill each other with Chaos and MP? I feel like in your scenario it's only Saryn who's doing any killing. Also Mesa doesn't need any protection - she has damage reduction, CC and sight clearing damage. Mesa is so filthy good, Nova and Rhino sit in a corner and weep for days gone when they were at the top.

Yeah, but I lazy to press 3. Moving my finger 1cm to the left every 55 seconds is very hard work, you know.

It's only ~30 seconds so it's even worse than you imagined.

Completed 'The Second Dream'! I can now summon myself in battle to burst a megalaser out of my chest which is a little weird, but hey. Went with the Vazarin focus, though right now there's not much I can do with it. I knew about the character creation stuff in advance, but didn't really know much beyond that. Looking forward to the future quests, though right now back to unlocking planets, specifically Sedna. Fortunately I've already got all the objectives for it done — just need to do the missions to get to it. Might also stop to try and rank out Excalibur and Limbo.

I'm pretty sure the Stalker would've had more luck if he just knifed me rather than deciding 'ha ha I will now knock you down repeatedly' but I guess who am I to fault his strategy. Psychological warfare.

If you're curious what the Operator looks like for me, here you go. Raven voice. The 'secondary face' system is a little unintuitive? Seeing my character all of sudden start reacting in generic missions is for the moment still surprising and scaring me.

It doesn't help that the voice actors are pretty stiff for those lines. They get much better in later quests, but those generic lines haven't been redubbed yet.

So, for those of us playing on the Switch, Vauban's neuroptics just went up on an Alert mission. First time for the neuroptics, chassis and systems have besn fairly regular actually.

Those of us not yet up to speed, Vauban is a grenadier whose abilities are all basically from other frames, except in grenade form, and his components are alert-exclusive. He's not especially high tier, but he's rare-ish. Could be good for the reactions you get from strolling into a defense mission in one.

Oh, speaking of, vets: how good is it that I got Ivara's neuroptics and blueprints in three runs total? Because that totally happened, and the second run was an extra neuroptics.

Decent stroke of luck, but it's the chassis which is bitch to get for most.

Completed 'The War Within'. If you're curious as to my choices, I ended up going on the Sun route for all except for saying 'I controlled [the Void]' instead of 'hating it'. I was about 50/50 on killing the Queen personally or just walking away — 'Let her rot' doesn't really sound like mercy and I'd prefer a clean death, and let's be fair here the Queen is clearly a threat, but I decided to roll with it. I know Sun/Moon isn't really meant to be light-side/dark-side, KOTOR-style? So see the direction here and perhaps I'll switch again next time. I know alignment is involved in a few quests, but I don't know if currents plans are for it to be relevant in the future.

Looked more into focus and stuff. Like I said, I went with Vazarin, the slightly more support-ish orientated focus tree. In hindsight, starting with Naramon might have been the more efficient route, and it seems Zenurik is the more 'meta' pick. Ah well. I was a little confused as to how the system operated, didn't initially realise I had to install the lens onto a fully-upgraded warframe/weapon. Right now it's progressing incredibly slowly and getting more and better lenses sounds an effort, so I guess I'll leave that on the backburner. Excalibur is fun, now that I've got him a bit higher.

I got the initial Amp from the Quills. I've experimented with jumping out to be the Operator and it can be a nice change of pace, though I don't know how strictly practical it generally is other than in the case of running out of ammo. I haven't tried taking advantage of the invisibility on anything stealthy like Spy missions yet.

The Plains of Eidolon have some lenses as random mission rewards. You can also get Eidolon Lenses from those missions, which require a Greater Lens you can buy off the market.

As for the invisibility, the primary use isn't stealth (though it isn't bad for that). You'e invincible while using it, making it great for reviving downed teammates.

I take it you can remain invisible whilst reviving? That is pretty useful, then. Apparently they can hack as well, so I can see the utility.

Oh man Staticor is stupidly overpowered. I fucking love it!

I was meh about it at first and not convinced, then I finally decided to try it out (and because I'm itching closer to mastery rank 20) and wow. Bluetato and 4 formas in already!

Seriously, uncharged shots have 8 meter blast radius and you can build it for a crit/status hybrid!

I also love Ignis Wraith. Totally worth repeatedly going into Elite Sanctuary Onslaught dozen or so times to relvl it 7 times and getting temporarily suspended! Turns out it was because due to abnormal activity, system/performance related, all solved now.

I forget what the fuck am I supposed to use Forma for?

I’ve just been using it to craft weapons, what’s it supposed to actually do?

Besides that, it's used to add, remove or change a polarity of a mod slot on warframes, weapons and companions.

It's annoying having to relvl a weapon after you formaed it. At least DE could make it so if you mastered a frame or weapon or companion and forma it, it's twice as fast leveling them up.

It gets old repeatedly going back to Helene or Hydron to level up your stuff.

Well, it halves mod capacity taken if you place the mod on a mod slot with matching polarity.

Like Serration is of madurai polarity and is 14 maxed, 14 becomes 7 if you put it on a mod slot with madurai polarity, you get the idea.

There is no limit to how many times you forma a thing, so go nuts. It is annoying having to wait 24 hours for a single forma to be crafted... you could spend plat on forma bundles if you want, they cost just 35 plat.

It's become less annoying ever since DE made it so that the minimum mod capacity of your weapon was equal to your mastery rank.

After a while of playing, you can just forma more or less anywhen and use the weapon along in the missions you're doing. It doesn't level as fast, but at least you feel more productive.

Of course, I don't recommend doing it when the missions you're facing are really hard. I especially do not recommend doing it with Warframes, in the same context.

there used to be 10 man multi-goal missions but they were really not used much and eventually patched out when the Dev teams realized that.

I am liking to look of being able to use arch-guns on the ground. More mods for them, too. Looks like they're gearing up for the archwing revamp in Railjack.
