"I didn't know you deserved to meet my master." Greed repeated, mocking Ramuh's voice. "Well, I don't give a shit about what you think. I don't care if you don't think I'm worthy, and I don't care if your boss and the old man got into a junk-measuring contest or something like that. I've got an offer to make to him, not you. So go get him."

The Suwako present near the Rift Mother watched as the immense worm was forced under the ground and back into the depths from which it had came. Such a big creature in the planet... she hadn't even been paying enough attention to notice something like that! As she set to work fixing up some of the holes in the ground, her attention was quickly taken by the Mishaguji milling about in the air above. Tilting her head, Suwako too off her hat.

"Get back in here, all of you... you didn't get to eat?"

The serpents flowed back into the hat, the thousands suddenly all back into the seemingly-tiny space once more. As confused as she was, Suwako noticed that something was off... was there one missing? She slowly drifted down towards the ground and began to scan the area. The Mishaguji were obedient towards her, one of them wouldn't just go wandering off...

... Unless the spontaneously turned into a girl who needed clothing. Suwako was very confused to see the pale-no, albino, girl lying on the ground. Her red eyes were wind in bewilderment and she was holding herself with what Suwako assumed were newly-attained arms.

The earth goddess drifted towards the anthropomorphized Mishaguji, head tilted in confusion. "... What happened to you?"

"Mori... Moriya-sama..." the albino girl looked around herself. Her speech was... difficult. She wasn't used to speaking with a mouth. "I... a... ate the dark thing... and this happened... I am... confused."

"... Hm... well... You have legs and stuff now, so I'm sure it's not a bad thing!" Suwako replied, her usual cheer returning in force. "But... hm. You can't use those legs when you don't have clothing..."

Suwako promptly began to search herself. She was sure she had something to work as clothing for the newly-humanoid curse god.. dess until she got something better. A white kimono was on Suwako's mind, but she didn't have such a thing with her.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Armok watched as Yami did away with his creation for some reason. Well, it didn't matter much to Armok. He continued his process and cursed the region this monolith once stood at. Now the dead rise spontaneously in the range and it rains only blood from the sky. With that done, the giant A floated away to a less touched area of land that hasn't had attention. "With a curse, there should also be a blessing." He started to focus as he did before, pushing light into the land starting with a small circle that starts expanding.

Celebi opened it's eyes and shakily managed to get into a sitting position. "I'll be better for a Leppa Berry. I had to do that before the stars came out. I am the guardian of the forest, and while I Safeguard it, anyone can find sanctuary under it's leaves."

Celebi spoke truly. Though the dark glare of the new stars would inspire dark deeds all across the world, they seemed dimmer through the invisible veil covering the treetops. Their evil aura could not penetrate through Celebi's spell, and anyone who entered would feel that burden lift from their spirits before long.

"Though it's easier to pull big things like that after my shrine gets built, for some reason." Celebi added offhandedly.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.
