Upon arriving in the more spacious area of the route near the Seaosn Research Lab, Herbert could see Duke and Lyuri already training, the latter wearing the blindfold and just blocking one of Duke's punches.
"Hah! I got you this time!" said Lyuri, holding Duke's arm in place
Lyuri then brings Duke to the ground with a leg sweep and holds him in place.
"Good enough for you?" she asked.
"Pretty good." said Duke with a chuckle.
Lyuri then took out the blindfold and let Duke get up "I know that if you were going all out, I probably wouldn't be able to do anything, but hey, with time who knows? I may become a strong fighter myself." she said, with a rather proud look.
"You should try to do less boasting and more sensing your surroundings." said Duke, having noticed Herbert already.
Lyuri then turned to Herbert "Oh. Hey, why did you take so long?" she asked.

"Pretty good, there was a bit of a fight yesterday, but I'm fine." said Sakura, now looking at Sarah with a somewhat worried look "What happened to you in Black City, I talked with Herbert by the X-Transciever and I know that it wasn't pretty."

Herbert: Okay, she's gotten good at this. Perhaps a little too good. There's no way I'm going to be able to predict Duke that well.
-he steps over a swampy puddle, and moves to join them-

"That's right, don't worry though, I won't be much more difficult than Lyuri was, I'll try to be a bit more merciful when it comes to your face." joked Duke, with a small smile, before glancing at Lyuri and then the blindfold and pointing with his head toward Herbert.
"Right, have fun." said Lyuri, putting the blindfold on Herbert.

"That's good, by the way, Jacob was talking yesterday about being crushed by your Metagross, I think this may have crushed his motivation as well." said Sakura, waving at Sam.

-Herbert lets Lyuri blindfold him without comment, sensing Duke's Aura and turning towards it, and speaking in a tone of voice that doesn't sound very ready at all-
Herbert: Alright, I'm ready. Yeah, sure he'll go easy on me, but he's older than Lyuri - how old is Duke, again? I never got around to asking - and far better built, to boot. Not to mention I can't taunt him like I did Lyuri. He's just calm and smiling all the time... it's unnerving. At least Lyuri has some idea of how to read him, seeing as she's his girlfriend and all.

"Right, let's start it." said Duke, taking a bit of a deep breath.
He then rushes at Herbert, trying to punch him in the stomach and he did so pretty quickly as well
"Ah, my poor stomach, good thing I haven't eaten anything yet, those really hurt." said Lyuri.

-Herbert is taken completely off-guard by Duke's charge, and collapses to the floor wheezing as the punch hits him in the stomach-
Herbert: OOF! Arceus, that took the wind out of me...
-he staggers to his feet, attempting to ready himself and read Duke's Aura, but he is still shaken and poorly-prepared for the next attack-

Sam walked over but stayed silent, interested in what they where talking about.

Duke waits until Herbert manages to catch his breath a bit "I did say I was only going to try to not hit your face as hard as Lyuri did." said Duke, staying in a fair distance from Herbert "Of course, I'll wait until you're better prepared before attacking again, I'm not sadistic to keep at it like this."
Duke calmly waited for Herbert to get ready again while Lyuri just watched everything.

Herbert: Alright. It's not just my face I'm worried about, though; I'd rather the Rear Admiral not have to abandon ship.
-he takes a couple of deep breaths, and then adopts a ready stance, but is still unable to read Duke particularly well-

Duke then tries to go and punch Herbert in the chest, but not as strong as before, though he was just going to fake it out and try to leg sweep him.
"Just remember that not all attacks are punches." said Duke.

Sarah: Brecht. Technically, he's my Beheeyem, but he's been off doing his own thing. He said Pallad was needed yesterday...

-Herbert is caught out by the feint punch and tries to block it, until he is hit by the leg sweep and staggers backwards, but although he remains unsteady he does not fall over-
Herbert: Are you warning me about your feints now? I thought you had more faith in me than that.
