-Ammy is walking around.-

-Suddenly, she spots a mom with her kids-

Kid 1: Mommy, I wanna see the PWT!

Kid 2: Yeah, me too!

Mom: OK, kids, we'll go look. ^_^

Human!Ammy: Heh... Maybe someday Umbra and I will...

-thinks a bit-

Actually... I'm not sure we can...

-She droops and sighs, then spots Sakura-

Oh, hey miss Sakura! How're you doing?

Lostlorn Forest

Lilina brings Pyry to the entrance, but she stays next to the trees as the entrance was visible for him.

"<I don't want anybody seeing me, so just go ahead.>" said Lilina, rather scared.

"<O-Oh, ok, thanks for the help.> said Pyry, as he started to head out

It was then that a certain Staraptor that was left in the forest noticed Pyry and went to him.

"<So you were hiding here all this time? You're pretty good at hide and seek you know, kid?>" commented Hayato, much to Pyry's surprise "<Lyuri has been searching for you for a while, it's better for you to wait here, I'll bring her here.>"

"<O-Oh! A-All right.>" said Pyry, with a nod.

Hayato then nods and heads out of Lostlorn towards Nimbasa.

Driftveil

Sakura notices Ammy and just waves at her with a smile "Hi Ammy! It's been a while!" she said, cheerfully

"<Hey! It's the Volcarona lady!>" said Dylan, also pretty cheerful

"<Who?>" asked Lily, weirded out by Dylan's comment.

Driftveil - Elsewhere

"I get the feeling I'm forgetting something." said Lyuri, to herself.

Sarah: His name is Herbert. His first impression... well, second, really, but regardless... was trying to flirt with me. It was amusing.

-Herbert has woken up, and has just pulled on his clothes and grabbed a cup of coffee before heading outside-

Herbert: Hmm, this city looks interesting. I wonder what there is to do here, other than lark about training with Duke and Lyuri...

-he notices Sakura and Ammy-

Herbert: Oh hey, Sakura! And... hello, Ammy. Sakura, you wouldn't happen to know where your sister and her boyfriend are? Only I'm supposed to be doing some more training with them today.

"I've been doing fine, mostly, you?" asked Sakura to Ammy, before noticing Herbert "If you two are doing training, then they're probably on the route outside of the city to not cause any problems to any bystanders." she answered, with a small smile.

Human!Ammy: Herbert! I need to talk to you! D:<

Arika: -snickers- Because you were a girl, right?

Herbert: Thank you, Sakura. I'll head over there as soon as I deal with... well, this.

-he gives a small sigh, and turns to Ammy-

Herbert: I'm sure you do. But could you make it quick, please? Only I have places to be, people to meet, and the basic life force of all sentient beings to manipulate.

Sarah: -weak giggle- Yep. And it was even more amusing when he found out I was a boy prior to April Fools.

Human!Ammy: This may seem random, but do you know where I come from, Herbert?

Arika: -laughs- Aww man, he had it coming!

Herbert: Usually, I would be more surprised by a statement like that, but Diane also mentioned something about this world. A Pokemon-only universe, she said. Funnily enough, she's also... well, nevermind. Is there something significant about this world? Because it keeps getting mentioned, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat curious.

Herbert: Really? I suppose that with an infinite number of possible universes, there must be at least one where something like that happened. So wait, you're saying you're from an alternate universe? Usually I'd question that, but I'm currently trying to figure out how Pokemon are finding their way here from a place named the "Dream World". Weird things tend to happen around this group. Anyway, do continue.

-Brecht crumbles up a note reading;-

Sarah: Now... I guess I'll get some sleep... Still recovering a bit from yesterday...

Driftveil Center — Now

-Sarah wakes up and heads to the lobby-

Above Driftveil City

| Zeta and Glossa are flying atop Cetus's back. Kaminari is nowhere to be seen, and the rest of her party of retreated to their Pokeballs.

| Zeta is meditating once more.

| She falls deeper and deeper into a trance.

| She can feel the sun beating down on her face. She feels sand beneath her. The wind howls, with that tone unique to the wide open expanses of a desert. Zeta opens her eyes.

Zeta's Mindscape

| Zeta is in a desert. It stretches on in all directions, farther than the eye can see. Nearby, there are old ruins, of the sort you might find in Orre. The sky appears to be split into quadrants, centered on where she is now sitting.

| To the north, the sky is clouded and storming, with lightning flashing and sand being whipped into the air. It is dark and grim in that direction, and Zeta shudders as she looks at it. The path exiting the ruins to the north is barely visible, covered in sand.

| Looking south, she sees the sun beaming down, bright and cheerful and happy. She can see an oasis, off in the distance. She can feel herself relaxing, just at the sight of it. The path leading off to the south is narrow and under-used, barely maintained at all.

| To the east, the sky is gray and overcast. The sand there is coarse, gritty. The land is heavily cratered and torn. It has obviously been bombed and destroyed, as if only recently the fighting had stopped. The path leading in that direction is wide and well maintained, the sand packed hard and solid.

| West, the sky is... hard to look at. It swirls with colors, constantly shifting and changing. The colors disturb her. No sky should turn those shades, those hues. The sand there twists and changes colors as well, forming shapes and images. Sometimes they appear to be stories, sometimes merely geometric figures. She can feel her sanity slipping away as she stares. She quickly looks away. The last thing she sees is that the path leading to the west moves, fluidly, like a snake or a vine blowing in the wind.

| She looks down. She is sitting on an intricate seal. It curls and wraps around her, soothing her mind, healing the damage done by the Western Desert. She calms down.

| Examining the ruins themselves more closely, she notices three things: A spear, a veil, and a torch. They float above her head, and she feels them to be significant, though not exactly sure in what specific way.

Human!Ammy: Yes, I am. And because of what happened to my world, I was terrified of Dragons. Didn't help that a mean Haxorus held me prisoner until Umbra helped save me. But then, I met my real parents, and my Dad... was a Dragon.

Herbert: And? My father was a Team Galactic commander. Three guesses what my opinion of him is like. As a result, I don't really hold familial ties in high regard. Is there something more significant behind that story, other than you having a phobia of Dragons?

Human!Ammy: But that's where you're wrong! My father was a nice Dragon, who didn't help the mean ones at all! He even fell in love with my Mom, who used to be human!

So what I'm really saying here is just because something seems scary or gross doesn't mean it really is that way! You gotta know the whole story first!
