ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

- Artemis and Mira continue chasing after the two Sneasel, eventually leading out of town and into a jungle -

- They eventually spot the two Sneasel sitting in a tree -

Artemis: <We finally caught up...>

Mira: (makes a shushing sound, and motions for Artemis to hide in some bushes with her)

- The two stay hidden in the bushes, watching the two Sneasel -

Sneasel 1: <Hehe! I think we managed to shake those Pokémon off!> (holds the Ducklett egg and licks her lips) <Breakfast time!>

Sneasel 2: <Hey! Hold on!>

Sneasel 1: <Huh?>

Sneasel 2: <... You are going to share that, right?>

Sneasel 1: <Why should I? I'm the one who snatched the egg.>

Sneasel 2: <Hey! I helped too, you know! This is my breakfast too!>

- Artemis and Mira watch the two Sneasel arguing -

Mira: (starts preparing an Aura Sphere) <I will finish this quickly...>

Artemis: <Mira, don't! One of them is still holding the egg!>

Mira: (stops) <But... If we do not act quickly, the egg might get eaten.>

Artemis: <I know...> (thinks for a moment) <Wait there. I'll try to see if I can sneak up on them and steal the egg back.>

- Artemis quietly begins creeping forward, staying low to the ground and moving towards the tree the two Sneasel are in -

-I am awake in my hotel room, my Pokemon asleep on the floor, except for Aurora, who is up on the hotel roof watching the sunrise-

Aurora:It sure is nice up here.

-The sound of the waves can be heard as the sun comes up-

Aurora:<So peaceful...>

-Crescent ascends the stairs to the roof silently-

Crescent:<Aurora? What are you doing up here?>

Aurora:<Oh, hello Crescent. Just watching the sunrise.>

-Crescent sits down next to Aurora to watch the sunrise-

Crescent:<Beautiful.>

Aurora:<Yeah.>

-Crescent gazes into the horizon, unknowingly moving closer to Aurora, almost looking like two cats in love-

Aurora:<...>

Crescent:-notices what's happening and his face turns Tamato berry red- <Oh! Sorry about that...>

Aurora:<No, it's fine.>

-The two stay like that for the rest of the sunrise-

-Unfortunately for Artemis and Mira, a certain Gallade just so happens to pick that moment to teleport in.-

Guardé: <AH-HA! I've finally escaped from that awful prison! Wait...Where am I?>

-Guardé looks around, then spots the Sneasel with the Ducklett egg.-

Guardé: <FOUL MISCREANTS! What do you think you're doing with that egg?!> -Extends his arm blades.- <Ducklett may be awful creatures, but even they do not deserve such an awful fate!> -Assumes a battle stance.- <Now, HAVE AT YOU!>

Sneasel 1: <Wha-?>

Sneasel 2: <Who the heck is this guy?>

Mira: (watching from the bushes) <Oh, great...>

Artemis: (watching from her hiding spot near the tree) <What is he doing here!?>

Sneasel 1: (puts the egg down, placing it between two branches to keep it from falling out of the tree) <Guess my breakfast will have to wait...>

Sneasel 2: <Our breakfast!>

Sneasel 1: <Whatever!>

- The two Sneasel lunge at Guardé with an incredible speed -

Artemis: <...! Oh, this is good... He might just distract those two long enough for me to get the egg back...>

- Artemis quietly sneaks forward and begins climbing the tree while the Sneasel are distracted -

-Guardé quickly and calmly raises a Protect Shield to block the two Sneasel's Quick Attacks.-

Guardé: <How uncouth!>

-In a flash, the Gallade teleports behind the two Dark types.-

Guardé: <Charging headlong into battle is my strategy! Are you really so foul as to steal the tactics of others?>

-The Gallade proceeds to set his fists ablaze, then punches both the Sneasel.-

- Both Sneasel are knocked down from the tree, hitting the ground below -

Sneasel 1: <Ow...>

Sneasel 2: <Ack... He's too strong!>

Sneasel 1: <Yeah... Guess I'll have to find something else to have for breakfast...> (runs off)

Sneasel 2: <... We'll' have to find something else to have for breakfast!> (follows the other Sneasel)

Mira: <... All right.>

- Mira quickly runs over to the tree, Artemis is already climbing it -

Artemis: <... Climbing trees was much easier back when I was a Purrloin, even though I'd sometimes get stuck in them...>

Mira: <Artemis, allow me to retrieve the egg!>

- Mira leaps into the air, then bounces off Artemis' head and lands on one of the branches to the tree, while Artemis falls back to the ground from having a Mienshao jump on her head -

Artemis: (rubbing her head) <Ow...>

- Mira quickly moves over and manages to pull the egg loose from the two branches the Sneasel stuck it between -

Mira: <I got it!>

Artemis: <Wow, good job!>

- Mira begins climbing back down from the tree, carrying the egg -

Guardé: <That's right, begone you vile thieves!>

-The Gallade shakes his fist at the two Sneasel, then turns his attention to Artemis and Mira.-

Guardé: <Are you and your egg alright, ladies? It would be such a shame if something were to happen to such some fine young Pokémon as you.>

Artemis: <Um... We're fine.>

Mira: (oblivious to Guardé flirting) <Yes, and the egg appears to be unharmed too... Huh?>

- The egg moves around in Mira's arms and cracks begin to form in it -

Artemis: <Oh! I think it's hatching!>

- Mira places the egg on the ground as more cracks form in it, until the female Ducklett finally hatches from it. The blue little water bird Pokémon opens her eyes, Artemis and Mira being the first thing she sees -

Ducklett: (tilts head slightly) <Quack?>

Artemis: <Hey there!>

Mira: (pets the little Ducklett on the head) <No need to be scared. You are safe now, little one.>

Ducklett: (happily) <Quack!>

Guardé: <Oh, so that's a Ducklett...Cute. Worry not, little one! I shall see to it that you're kept safe for the time being!> -To Artemis and Mira.- <Well then, shall we get you lovely ladies and the little one back to your trainer?>

Artemis: <Um... Yeah, I suppose.>

Mira: (nods) <Yes. DS has probably woken up by now... She is probably worried about us...>

Ducklett: <Quack!>

Artemis: (looks around) <... So... Um... Where did we come from, again?>

Mira: <Hmm... This way.> (points)

Artemis: <Well then, let's go.>

Mira: (nods) <Yes.>

Ducklett: <Quack!>

Meanwhile, outside the hotel

- Ribbons is looking at the ground, examining four sets of footprints, two of them being Sneasel footprints, the others being Liepard and Mienshao footprints -

Ribbons: <... Huh. Interesting.>

Meanwhile, inside the hotel

- DS (now wearing a light purple t-shirt and black knee-length shorts) has just made a mess out of her hotel room, searching for the Ducklett egg -

Where is it? Where is it!?

- Continues searching around in somewhat of a panic while Silvermist and Tulip watch me -

Silvermist: <... I don't know about you, but I think the egg may not be in here.>

Tulip: <I think I agree with you, yes.>

Guardé: <Hold up! There's no need to walk! We can simply teleport back! See?>

-Guardé demonstrates by teleporting...To the top of a nearby tree.-

Guardé: <WHA-! That was a mistake! Okay, try again...>

-The Gallade teleports again, this time ending up in a nearby pond.-

Guardé: -Spits some water out of his mouth.- <Or perhaps we could just walk...> -Follows after Artemis and Mira.-

Artemis: <... Yeah. Let's walk.>

Ducklett: (giggles a little at Guardé)

Mira: (to the Ducklett) <Stay close to us, we do not know what other wild Pokémon may lurk out here...>

Ducklett: (happily) <Quack!> (happily cuddles up against Mira)

Artemis: <Aww... How cute!>

Ducklett: (looks over at Artemis) <Quack!> (walks up and starts cuddling up against Artemis)

Artemis: <Hehe... Aren't you the cutest thing ever?>

Mira: <... Did she even understand what I was telling her about potential dangers?>

Guardé: -Watches the Ducklett.- <Aw, I think she likes you two! Of course, it's all thanks to I, the great hero Guardé, are together!> -Strikes a triumphant pose.-

Meanwhile

-Me and my Pokémon are searching for Guardé, having woken up to find him missing.-

Stratus: <GUARDÉ! Where are you?!>

Chord: -Sighs.- <How could I forget that he could teleport? Urgh, I should have tied him up...>

Woolly: <Don't worry guys, Guardé can look after himself, right?>

...

Woolly: <...Yeah, yeah. I know...>

Artemis: <Hehe... Yeah, she does seem to have taken a liking to us, doesn't she?>

Mira: <Well, apparently some Pokémon believe the first thing they see upon hatching is its mother. She may have imprinted on us.>

Artemis: <...! Oh, Mira! You just gave me a great idea!>

Mira: <... What?>

Artemis: <If the Ducklett thinks we're her mothers, then... Why don't we adopt her?>

Mira: <... W-what? Adopt her?>

Artemis: (nods) <Uh-huh!>

Mira: <Uh... Artemis, she is not our responsibility. She is DS' Pokémon.>

Artemis: <So?>

Ducklett: (examines her wings)

Meanwhile...

- DS looks around at her now completely messed up hotel room -

Gah! It's not in here!

Silvermist: <We kind of already figured that out, DS.>

Tulip: <So... If the egg is not in here, then where is it, yes?>

I don't know...

- Looks around at my hotel room -

... Whoa. I really messed this place up, didn't I?

Tulip: (nods) <Yes.>

Silvermist: <... Think any of the others may have heard the noise from in here and are wondering what the heck is going on?>

- Blushes -

Uh... Maybe?

-Is in his hotel room muttering something about tropical heat-

Meanwhile...

Harriet: <Do you really think he's going to have ended up in DS' room?>

Treeo: <I don't know, but it wouldn't hurt to look.>

Lake: <Yeah. She and her Pokémon might have seen him around, at least.>

-Treeo knocks on the door.-

Treeo: <DS? Are you awake?>

-well, not anymore. Unbeknowest to him, Fade let herself out in the night, and, for purposes of breakfast, left him on the hotel roof. Every is now about to wake up. Let's see what happens-

AAHHHHHHHHH!

-Well, now we know-

- Artemis and Mira don't hear Guardé -

Mira: <Artemis, she is not our daugther, she is our teammate. And our objective right now is to safely bring her back to DS.>

Ducklett: (walks up to Mira)

Artemis: <Fine, fine... We'll discuss this further with DS once we find her.>

Ducklett: (bites onto one of Mira's whiskers)

Mira: <Ow!> (tries to pull her off) <Do not do that, sweetie.>

Ducklett: (lets go) <Quack!>

Artemis: <On a different subject, what should we call her?>

Mira: <Artemis, naming her is DS' job.>

Ducklett: (starts pecking at the ground)

Mira: <... Although, knowing DS, it is pretty obvious what she intends on naming the little water bird.>

Artemis: <Oh?>

Meanwhile

- Hears someone knock on the door -

... Huh?

- Answers it, noticing Luke's Pokémon -

Oh, hey there...

- Looks at my hotel room, and sweatdrops -

Sorry about the mess in here...

Tulip: <Oh, hello Treeo, yes!>

Silvermist: <Hi. We could use a little help here...>

-Aurora and Crescent jump in surprise when Every wakes up some distance away from them-

Aurora:<Every?>

Crecent:<What are you doing here?>

I— wha—

-notices Fade-

...Faaaaade?

Fade: -recalls herself-

...Ugh...

-climbs down from the roof and wanders off-

Guardé: <...Did they not hear that?> -Sighs.- <Oh well. Better than getting slapped in the face I guess.>

Meanwhile...

Treeo: <Hi DS.> -Notices Tulip and blushes.- <...Hi Tulip...>

Harriet: <Somemon's in love!>

Treeo: -Elbows Harriet gently.- <I'm not!>

Lake: <Oh, what's the matter Silvermist?> -Notices that the room's a wreck.- <...What happened here?>

Aurora:<Okay...>

-Beat-

Crescent:<I think we should go back downstairs now.>

Aurora:<Okay.>

-They walk down together-

In the hotel

Well... When I woke up this morning, the Ducklett egg was missing, and I kind of messed up the whole room while trying to find it...

Tulip: <Artemis and Mira are missing too, yes!>

Silvermist: <I think Ribbons went outside to look for them.>

Meanwhile, where Artemis, Mira, Guardè and the Ducklett is

Mira: <... You have not figured it out yet?>

Artemis: (shakes head) <No?>

Mira: (sighs) <... Odette. The name of DS' Ducklett is Odette.>

Artemis: <... Oh. Now I see.>

Odette: (happily) <Quack!>

Artemis: <Hehe! She seems to like her name!>

Mira: <Yes... Well, we better keep going.> (looks around) <As far as I can tell, there are no potential threats nearby. Still, we should keep our eyes open.>

Artemis: (nods) <Right. Come on, Odette. We have to keep going.>

Odette: <Quack!>

- They continue walking -

Hotel Grounds

-Meanwhile, A certain Zoroark and Mismagius quietly sneak out of the Hotel, carrying the entire stock of toilet paper.-

Hallow: <Eeheehee! This place will fall into complete chaos without any toilet paper!>

Phantom: <Yeah. Rather messy chaos, at that. So, how about we head into the town and find something to TP?>

Hallow: -Smirks evily.- <Oh Phantom, you truly are the master!>

Phantom: -Smirks back.- <I do try...>

DS' Hut

Lake: <Oh no, that's terrible!>

Treeo: <Huh. You're not the only one who's missing a Pokémon. Guardé's gone, too.>

Harriet: <Yeah, we're kinda' worried about that. Since he's sort of a danger to himself and others.>

Treeo: -Nods.- <I'm guessing you haven't seen him, have you?>

Where Guardé, Mira, Artemis and Oddette are

Guardé: <Oddette! Ah-ha! What a fine name!> -To Oddette.- <Do not worry, young Oddette! The great hero Guardé is here to keep you safe! No predator shall get past me!>

-wakes up-

Sunny: <So, why didn't you decide to room with Every?>

Well, I wanted to, but he was already asleep against the wall and I didn't want to disturb him. I wonder if he's awake yet...
