That's not generalizing based on race, that's culture. And frankly it makes no sense for culture not to influence things like this.

Also,

Secondly is otaku (which is somewhat socially withdrawn in the first place), withdraw into a fantasy world(2D girls) as some form of escapism/self comfort after being rejected/fear of being rejected.

Is this really much of a problem? It keeps them away at least.

If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.

Fate is pretty and all, but come on, it's not that hard to find someone at least similarly attractive in real life. And I'm saying this as someone who absolutely sucks at attracting women, or at least thinks he does.

[15:19] <+deltib> 2D GIRLS ARE SUPERIOR TO 3D GIRLS, AND ALL THOSE 3D GIRLS ARE JUST JEALOUS

Jesus wept.

I mean, seriously, he has an actual female talking to him, and he just goes "LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU YOU'RE LYING TO ME". What An Idiot.

^^ Unfortunately the first season was better...it had more fillers. And that show actually had good fillers

btw, is it only misogyny to lust after 2D characters? What about older women lusting over yaoi characters?

Good thing I've been hardened by the internet.

^ A vast majority say the opposite; that the first season had too much filler. There's a Hn G thread somewhere here.

But the fillers in Hn G were actually good imo, unlike Naruto or most of the Bleach fillers.

Plus, that TTGL episode.

Yeah, agreed. I like both. But we're straying off the topic.

Misogyny = hatred of women.

From what I can see, the problem comes in when you find yourself liking fictional characters to the exclusion of all else. That's what the guy Mapi was trying to knock some sense into was going for.

@this Dream Tactix guy:

I mean, sometimes (well, a lot of the time) I've liked women who didn't really like me. And yes, it sucked. It doesn't mean I have to just stop trying.

[15:04] <+deltib> well, yeah, I like cuteness
[15:04] <+deltib> but I thought that was a givin
[15:05] <+deltib> it's the one thing anime girls have that real girls lack
There are plenty of cute RL girls, though I guess they might not have enough moƫ interjections for you.

^^^^^^ I highly doubt anybody like that ever exists...even the ones who married fictional characters.

Their problem is they just can't get real ones.
