The swamp adder is a small venomous serpent native to India. It is most notable for its exceptionally acute sense of hearing (unusual in a snake) and for its intelligence (among reptiles second only to that of the Incredibly Deadly Viper). Though widely regarded as the deadliest snake in all of India, it can be tamed and even trained if rewarded with a bowl of milk or a good fanfic.
This specimen has spent most of its time on the wiki acting as an Entry Pimp for Sherlock Holmes and Disney duck comics; it also launched the articles on Double Indemnity and Star Maker.
