Once again, the Trailblazer's gender not being set-in-stone means they should not be included when considering the game's first 5★ female Imaginary character, or the game's first male Harmony character. This is because if you choose Stelle, then we still do not have a permanent male Harmony character; likewise choosing Caelus means we still do not have a permanent female 5★ Imaginary character.

%%IMPORTANT NOTE TO EDITORS: Due to the gender-selectable nature of the Trailblazer, do not call them the first female 5★ Imaginary character (Stelle) or the first male Harmony character (Caelus). This is because if you choose Stelle, then we still do not have a permanent male Harmony character; likewise choosing Caelus means we still do not have a permanent female 5★ Imaginary character.

* BreakingOldTrends: Twofold as of ver 2.2. Stelle is the first female 5★ Imaginary-Type character whereas beforehand were all-male, while Caelus breaks the trend of all Harmony playable characters are female by being the first male Harmony character.

* FourPhilosophyEnsemble:
** Dan Heng is the cynic, as someone who used to be "on the run" and only found shelter and comfort in the Astral Express; he's cautious, tends to assume the worst, and tries to avoid conflict as much as possible.
** March 7th is the optimist, with her cheerfulness, idealistic outlook and white-and-black view of things.
** Welt and Himeko are the realist, as determined, knowledgeable and forward-thinking people tempered with years of experience, though the latter has slight leaning towards optimist.
** The Trailblazer is the apathetic one, as while in general they're driven by spirit of trailblazing and doing the right thing, their thoughts are hard to discern and tend to veer far away compared to the other people around them.

* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: Their kit heavily encourages Breaking enemies, with the Backup Dancer buff triggered by their Ultimate allowing the party to inflict additional Super Break damage against Broken foes, proportional to the attacker's level and Break Effect stat, and the attack's toughness reduction.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: They are the only unit in the game who can bestow the ability to inflict Super Break, a type of Break damage (scaling with Break Effect) that affects Broken enemies and scales off of the attacker's Toughness Reduction instead of their Type or their target's Max Toughness.

* SlidingScaleOfGameplayAndStoryIntegration: The Harmony Trailblazer is built around inflicting Weakness Break and empowering their allies to capitalize upon compromised foes with Super Break damage scaling off Toughness Reduction while using the Hat of Mikhail as their chosen weapon. This synergizes very well with Misha, Penacony bellboy and , with the latter's Ultimate inflicting amazing Super Break damage to lone targets due to its incredible Toughness Reduction.

* SupportPartyMember: They are a Harmony Pathstrider with a unique focus on their Ultimate augmenting the party's attacks with Super Break damage against Broken foes; however, unlike most characters in this Path, who tend to provide strictly passive roles or have otherwise mediocre damage output, the Trailblazer in this form is designed to be aggressive, using their Skill to quickly build their Energy (and hence use their Ultimate sooner). Also related is their Imaginary damage type, whose Break Damage is tied with that of Quantum as the weakest of its kind but whose attached Imprison debuff delays the victim's recovery. As both Super Break damage and the delay inflicted by Imprison scale off of the attacker's Break Effect stat, this helps the party be more efficient in severely compromising foes and swiftly dispatching them before they can even recover.

** She may not be an explicit AlternateSelf of Elysia from VideoGame/HonkaiImpact3rd, but she has some matching traits: a happy-go-lucky, pink-haired girl armed with a bow who has a mercurial personality and simply loves to adventure and meet new people. They're also both ice-elemental and have been depicted as sealed in crystal/ice.

* ContinuityNod: When talking to Himeko about deciding whether Robin's choices was right or not, she mentions that she sometimes dreams about certain people who pushed forward even during the most difficult times, and how she will give them her full support, just like with Robin's decision. This is a reference to Honkai Impact 3rd, particularly the "Moon Halo" animated short, where Kiana and her friends resolve to keep fighting and move forward no matter how difficult it was, which means that even in death, Himeko will always watches over them no matter who or what form she is.

* HiddenDepths: While she already makes it clear that she's willing to cooperate with other factions of varying agendas and moralities as long as they're willing to listen to the Astral Express crew's perspective, it comes off as surprising that even she can extend this attitude to the [[spoiler:Stellaron Hunters (particularly Firefly), especially when a problematic Stellaron is on the loose or other crises are in motion.]] Considering her absolute openness in working with in the 2.2 Trailblaze Quest, this kind of attitude is probably unthinkable for people who think that the last thing Himeko would ever do is cooperate with the .
** Related to the above, Himeko also shows surprising reasonableness when she allows the Trailblazer to , believing that she genuinely asks for the Trailblazer's help with no ulterior motives of harming them. While Himeko is a truly reasonable figure throughout the story, it may be surprising that at this point, she also realizes that the Trailblazer and share a deep connection thanks to their mysterious pasts, which becomes the reason for her allowing the Trailblazer to help them, even though Himeko remains adamant in not wanting to deal with them because of the way they altered the Astral Express' journey at the start of the Xianzhou Luofu arc.
