Halfway Through Let's Take It Slow: Short Time Through Celadon

day 67 ash catches primeape, and gets 5th badge from erika {ep25+26}

1st. Ash only completes the capture after evolution so only Primeape is added to his dex, 2nd. this is my justification for Ash having super legs, his Primeape chases them from random rock outcropping just outside Saffron all the way to Celadon, and it's still the same day.

3rd. Erika's a bitch in the anime, first her subordinates are like, you said perfume sucks no battle for you when both Brock and Misty, also gym leaders, have said previously that no challenge could be turned down, and then after Ash sneaks in there, incidentally creating his gender bent persona Ashley, she spews some shit about Ash not being empathic towards his Pokémon!! Um, bitch please, do you know what this kid has done for his Pokémon? Three examples:

For Pikachu, he put his life on the line the day they met, even though during said say Pikachu had not really given him any reason to do so being kind of a lazy ass up til the aforementioned spearow assault.

For Charmander, he saved his life, and got him out of an abusive trainer's hands.

For Butterfree he let him live his own life, placing his own Pokémon's feelings over his own as more important... which is empathetic. SO WHY DONT YOU JUST SHOVE IT!

Lastly, he only gets the badge because he put out the fire, how is that testing his aptitude? you SUCK at your job Erika. (2013) The question remains however if Erika is a worse gym leader than Skyla in the anime, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

day 71 misty accidentally catches psyduck {ep27} day 72 brock is given a vulpix {ep28}

Nothing interesting to talk about for these 2 eps, just them walking round Celadon, except why have hypno hypnotize everybody to fall sleep... there's a fucking move explicitly called “sleep powder” and James makes a good blonde, though the dress doesn't flatter him as much.

day 74 ash abandons primeape... after a week... man, he used to be such a dick {ep29}

He leaves primeape, so he can train for the Grand Prix... even though he just won the Grand Prix... What. Also, it's ironically funny that Ash does the worst thing he has ever done only after Erika told him he didn't do right by his Pokémon.

day 78 ash catches a muk {ep30}

So Ash once again has a full team... for all of 5 seconds because Muk's stench is too nauseating, even though the smell never bothers anyone after this episode, and strangest thing yet, he doesn't sub krabby in. So this means Ash has an empty slot for the remainder of Kanto for no reason at all... stupid. Also there's this thing with Pikachu getting electrical sickness (probably from being too hax) and a magnemite gets a crush on him, and somewhere in this group of episodes TR had finally become fully fictionally aware and from hence forth made 4th wall jokes. Funny stuff to be sure but whatever.

(2013) Yeah not really much to add about any of these episodes, good stand alone vignettes... least next update interesting stuff happens. In Summary, Erika=stupid, Vulpix=adorable, Psyduck=hilarious, Primeape=pointless, and Muk=Huh? What new Pokémon, and Krabby just gets totally shafted.

Next Time... "What d'ya mean the show's cancelled?! I just fought a fucking ninja!" Or "You can't keep a good 'mon down. Now where's my bloody ketchup?" eps 31-42

Yeah, I still never got to this day why Ash decided to leave his Primeape? All of his work dealing with the Pokemon and eventually becoming his friend all just to threw him to some other trainer to never see him again. At least with some of his other Pokemon he abandoned, he at least visits them or puts them back in the team for battle. However, he never visits or comes back to Primeape, shame because Primeape could've been a pretty cool team-member.

Preaching to the choir. Although it might be because he's in the show for such a little amount, Primeape being left doesn't bother me that much except in how stupid the action was, Pidgeot and Ambipom get a worse deal in my opinion, which you'll read about... if you care to go on that is.
