In which Kazushi takes it to the limit

Well, that was definitely a thing. A new social link, more fun times in Tartarus and Kenji continuing to be creepy. So after choosing to study a bit before sleeping, let's get back to school!

At the school gates we overhear two gossiping students going on about all the weird people around lately. Were I a genre-savvy man I'd say they were future party members, but no, it turns out they're talking about Apathy Syndrome sufferers. It also turns out that the athletic teams are accepting new members, so we should probably check that out at some point. Probably a good chance to get some more social links. After class, we see that Kenji has a big old ! mark over his head, but let's ignore that and find someone who doesn't try to aggressively ship us with classmates to hang out with! Checking out the Kendo, Track and Swimming teams, I decide to go ahead and join Kendo since it seems like a good idea, what with the whole "running around murdering Shadows" business. Might do some good to learn some proper sword techniques.

Upon joining, we're introduced to Yuko Nishiwaki, the manager of the Kendo team. Turns out we're in the same year, so that's cool. We're also introduced to Kazuhi Miyamoto, the future team captain of the Kendo team. Already he doesn't make a good impression on me by mentioning the "went out with Yukari" thing. Jeez, guys, she just showed me to school! He then rather ominously says that after school, I'm his, and that he won't go easy on us. I'm scared... But hey, we get ourselves another social link, this time that of Chariot. I forgot to mention last time, but Kenji's arcana is Magician. After a bit of looking around, we head back to the dorm.

Upon heading back to our dorm, we're greeted by Junpei, who encourages us to head over to Tartarus to go smack some Shadows about. Fine by me! Unfortunately, Yukari isn't feeling well, and pdam advised me early on to make sure both Yukari and Junpei could accompany me into Tartarus before setting forth. Really not liking the tiredness system, I gotta say. Ah well, let's do some studying and sleep. Hopefully Yukari will do better tomorrow.

One night of studying later, we find two students yacking on about a punching game. Seems that it makes people feel stronger as well. Hmm... May need to check out Game Panic at some point, then. Apparently what day of the week you go in on depends on what games are available. Curious. At lunch time, Kenji asks if we're doing anything after school, to which we respond with "maybe" to ward him away. We're also greeted by Kazushi, who invites us to go for a jog. Since I think Kazushi is an alright guy (other than unfortunate word choice) I figure I might as well join him and pray I don't regret it. Alas, we don't have the time, so I guess we'll settle for heading to the Kendo team instead. Might as well get that Social Link up. Alas, Kazushi is overworking himself, and doesn't take kindly to being told to lighten up a little. As we don't even look tired, he asks if we've done special training. As murdering Shadows sorta counts, we respond with yes. Kazushi takes this as a challenge, vowing to one day beat us. RIVALRY RANKU UP! Another rank for Chariot is always welcome. Unfortunately, it turns out Kazushi twisted his knee. Should have listened to my advice, dude.

On the way home, we find Yuko in the main lobby, so we decide to chat with her. Alas, our charms fail to persuade her to walk home with us, so we walk home alone. Poor Minato. Heading back home, we find Yukari about, who seems to be well enough to take on Tartarus again. Good to know. But for the time being, I shall call it an update, so see you all next time!
