Raguna is anxious to find out what this Tree Rune Stone will bring him, so after he does his normal farming duties, he takes Spring with him to Whale Island. They battle their way past the usual batch of monsters and down to the door with the pillar next to it. He inserts the stone into the slot on the pillar, and a dim brownish-yellow light shines over it, opening the door and revealing TREASURE! A Ruby, A Fire Crystal, and a Cheap Band. Surely, there must be something Raguna could make with these components, but it appears he doesn't have the right recipe for them just yet.
But he's not done there, no sir (and madam)! He heads out to the fin of the what and nabs himself a Wooly and a Buffamoo. The bruises he's received from trying to tame a Buffamoo that enjoys repeatedly headbutting him will surely go away in time, with or without Lara's help. Wool (the Wooly) can provide wool for Raguna, which can then be spun into yarn once he gets a maker. Momo (the Buffamoo) will eventually give out delicious milk, which should be good for making butter. Like Spring, these two monsters can't do anything to help out around the farm (since they lack opposable thumbs and such).
When Raguna returns to the surface, he goes around town giving away some of the new dishes he prepared the previous night. It seems that Wend er, I mean Selphy, is a big fan of rice balls...especially when prepared hot. He later goes to Snowstyle to get some more ingredients from Rita to start the process all over again.
