Being a site that specializes in debating, there are an number of things that people disagree on.

'''PLEASE KEEP ALL EXAMPLES''' '''''SUBJECTIVE.''''' '''THANK YOU.'''
----

* ArchivePanic: At its peak, the old OBD Wiki had over ''2000'' pages detailing fictional characters and their stats, weapons, common locations used in their series, etc. And that's not including the pages about members, community drama, common terms used in threads....
* BrokenBase: Tends to vary from time to time like most internet communities. Be it about certain series, the content on the Wiki, etc.
** One recent point of contention amongst users old and new concerns WebAnimation/DeathBattle. Not the show itself but rather [[http://roman55.tumblr.com/post/117192049064/hey-is-it-true-that-death-battle-curbs-from-the how some of their findings seem coincidentally similar to some of the OBD's findings]]. Members who gather data in the community have split into three parties, one group wants some kind of credit (using the example from the Sol Vs Ragna vid with the fan artist who's art was used without permission), one group who simply doesn't care whether or not they get any credit if it's true (as the data they come up with usually get's passed around other Vs debating communities without credit most of the time) and finally a group that just think it's all one big coincidence.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: When VideoGame/GuiltyGear was introduced to the OBD in 2011, it became an instant favorite among members. Even winning "Trend of the Year" in that year's OBD Awards. It also has one of the most detailed pages on the wiki (though it's in need of updates).
** For a while, this extended to it's SpiritualSuccessor VideoGame/BlazBlue during the drought of anything ''Guilty Gear'' related, with it getting a detailed page as well. As time went on however, most members started to care less for ''BB'', spurred by the direction the story and characters were going and because '' Guilty Gear Xrd'' was announced to much acclaim.
** Franchise/KamenRider is another series universally loved by a majority of users, in particular Series/KamenRiderKuuga. Heck, some of the senior members of the OBD were part of the fansubbing group that broke the supposed "Curse of Kuuga" after ten years.
* FanWank: Happens regularly. Usually when a new feat comes out for a popular series.
* FollowTheLeader: Other Sections of Narutoforums (the site where the OBD is hosted) have wikis of their own. The site Website/MovieCodec also did the same thing. The OBD wiki itself is an example, as [[http://nfblenderpedia.wikispaces.com/ The Blenderpedia came first]].
* JustHereForGodzilla: Quite a few people just join Narutoforums to be a part of the OBD. And many people just read the wiki for the articles on some of the drama that has happened over the years.
* MemeticBadass: [[http://outskirtsbattledome.wikispaces.com/OBD+Cosmics The OBD Cosmics]].
** [[http://outskirtsbattledome.wikispaces.com/EM%27s+Marka+Ragnos Endless Mike's Marka Ragnos]] is the most memorable. Worth noting that the use of Memetic Badasses in an actual debate is looked down upon.
** [[VideoGame/GuiltyGear Sol Badguy]]. Or more accurately, His heel.
** The site's current champion: [[VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}} Jedah Dohma.]]
* MemeticMutation: ''OBD HIVEMIND''
* OpinionMyopia: One major point of contempt by detractors is that the OBD (and the Wiki) is full of this.
* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: The Manga/{{Toriko}}verse, while not necessarily disliked, is looked down upon by some for having lower standards of speed compared to its fellow {{Shonen}} series (which are Supersonic - Hypersonic on average), effectively being a watered-down version of Manga/OnePiece and ''Franchise/DragonBall''. Recent calcs, however, showed decent results for destructive capacity, from double digit ''megatons'' towards single-digit '''PETATONS'''. In addition, they've been getting some more decent speed calcs reaching into MACH 1000.
** The infamous "[[Anime/DragonBallZ Zarbon's]] [[MeteorMove Crater]]" as well. For a long time, it was only a few hundred-thousand cubic meters in volume, and then the Rookie dubledolix09 stepped in and [[http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=20180 did some corrections to it]]. The result came into being from multi-city block to low town level (literally very few appeared to notice it, though).
** ''Manga/DGrayMan'' wasn't well-liked as well, until Avant stepped in it started to get more respect.
* TakeThatScrappy: [[http://outskirtsbattledomewiki.com/index.php/13-general-obd-terms/2121-the-method-of-test The Method of Test.]] Originally reserved for [[Manga/{{Naruto}} The Narutoverse]] in general, it soon expanded to shows and franchises the user base....really don't like that much.
* TearJerker: [[http://www.narutoforums.com/showthread.php?t=953321 Ultimecia's soulful and heartfelt love letter to the OBD]] in the form of a versus thread; a tribute to Crimson Dragoon who wished to see more Exalted.
* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: How quite a few people see the wiki after several of it's most infamous pages [[{{Bowdlerize}} were forced to be removed]] due to complaints.
** The current state of the OBD is seen this way to some members as well. {{Lampshaded}} by the opening page [[http://outskirtsbattledomewiki.com/]]:
---> '''PSA ''' - The Current OBD is far shittier than what this wiki makes it out to be.
** The archiving of several threads in the section.
* TheScrappy: On the wiki, pretty much anything relating to [[Manga/NegimaMagisterNegiMagi Negima]].
