When Padmé is injured fighting Mace Windu and Anakin is injured on Mustafar, he takes Anakin to a rehab center while he steals Padmé's life force, and when Anakin awakes as [[Characters/StarWarsDarthVaderAndServants Darth Vader]], Palpatine claims that the Jedi killed Padmé. Palpatine later teams up with Jabba the Hutt to enslave Kashyyyk and plans to use the [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Sun Crusher]] to destroy the Rebellion. A sinister, uncaring, and despotic Sith Lord, Palpatine still remains an utter monster. |
