1	* BileFascination: The gameplay is almost nonexistent with more focus being put on the story, which itself is basically an edgelord's bizzarely-written fanfiction given form. For a lot of people, that is the main draw of the game.
2	* DesignatedHero: The biggest criticism of the game was the fact that Haze is a terrible person who treats many people around him like shit and acts like an internet edgelord for absolutely no reason. The story still tries to show you he is just a normal guy who wants to brutally slaughter terrible people ([[PedoHunt pedophiles]] specifically) but it’s still hard to find him likable because of how he acts.
3	* HilariousInHindsight: Creator/GianniMatragrano plays Gabriel Romero in File 1, a man who believes he's the reincarnation of Jesus. [[VideoGame/{{Ultrakill}} One year later]] after File 1's release, Gianni ends up playing yet another Gabriel, who not only has a holy motif, but is ''the'' ArchangelGabriel and [[StarMakingRole is one of the roles he's most known for]].
4	* MemeticMutation:
5	** YE YE YE [[labelnote:Explanation]]The first few words of a song called "Playback" by Music/{{Nieve}}. About 80% of the game uses it, so it wormed its way into the players' heads.[[/labelnote]]

11	* ObviousBeta: It's easy to see the game as unfinished. If you don't delete at least some messages from your phone, you'll suddenly find yourself softlocked after a certain point. During the first night, the game falls apart if you take a wrong turn, with the time of day, sprites, and tiles changing at random. One NPC crashes the game when spoken to. Items bought from the shop do not work. And one of the sidequests will crash your game if done improperly.
12	* SignatureScene: Smoothie time. Not just because of the severe MoodWhiplash between it and the previous scene, but because of the content of the scene itself.
13	* SoBadItsGood: Many people enjoy the game because of how laughably stupid it can be most of the times, but also how much effort was put in despite the quality, such as the voice acting.
