* CaptainObviousReveal: Anyone who is paying attention to the voice-acting will likely realise immediately that [[spoiler:the Mystic that Aladdin meets in between the Oasis levels is Nasira in disguise]], due to [[spoiler:having the same voice as Nasira]]. If that's somehow not enough, there's also [[spoiler:a statue of a [[SnakesAreSinister cobra]] with [[RedEyesTakeWarning red eyes]] in the Mystic's tent]] to help give [[spoiler:her true identity]] away.
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: Creator/JodiBenson's [[EvilIsHammy hammy]] performance as Nasira results in several of these.
** The Game Over screen features Nasira [[EvilGloating gloating]], "Goodbye, Aladdin", and then suddenly yelling "FOREVER!" before bursting into [[EvilLaugh evil laughter]].
--->'''Nasira:''' Game Over! Goodbye, Aladdin -- '''''FOREVER!''''' Ha ha ha ha ha haa!
** This exchange between Aladdin and Nasira after the former traverses the Sultan's Palace.
--->'''Aladdin:''' What have you done with Princess Jasmine and the Sultan?\
'''Nasira:''' I disposed of them. Now that I am the ruler of Agrabah, their services were no longer needed; and [[EvilPlan once Jafar is returned to this mortal world]], '''''YOU WON'T BE, EITHER!'''''
* GoodBadBugs: If you use the slide button to reach an ice slide at just the right distance, you will keep the slower regular speed and physics of your regular slide while moving down the ice. This can make it a little easier to make turns and get through Cave of Wonders Level 2.
* MemeticMutation: "Game Over! Goodbye, [Hero] -- '''''[[EvilIsHammy FOREVER!]]''''' [[EvilLaugh Ha ha ha ha ha haa!]]" [[labelnote:Explanation]]On the Game Over screen, [[BigBad Nasira]] [[EvilGloating gloats]], "Game Over! Goodbye, Aladdin -- '''''FOREVER!''''' Ha ha ha ha ha haa!" People have took to the comments section on Website/YouTube posting this line as if it is quoted by other villains to their opposing heroes e.g. '''Aku:''' Game Over! Goodbye, WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack -- '''''FOREVER!''''' Ha ha ha ha ha haa![[/labelnote]]
* DarthWiki/NightmareFuel:
** While Nasira's [[EvilGloating gloating]] on the Game Over screen will probably be more [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments funny]] than this for older players, it will probably be this for children, especially when she says, "Goodbye, Aladdin -- '''''FOREVER!'''''"
** The Pyramid levels. The atmosphere and music combined make for a really creepy experience.
** The music from the third Ancient City level. It uses the "Arabian Nights" song from [[WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}} the original movie]] for its melody, but otherwise sounds like music out of ''Franchise/{{Metroid}}''.
* PolishedPort: The PC version adds analog stick support and greatly reduces loading times, resulting in a less clunky experience than the original [=PS1=] version.
* ScrappyMechanic:
** The lack of analog stick support. Aladdin can only move in eight different directions, which causes a lot of problems for a 3D platformer. Fortunately, this is averted with [[PolishedPort the PC port]].
** In order to get the GoldenEnding, you'll have to collect a Blue Genie Gem for every possible level, which in turn can only be obtained by collecting three Red Gems in a level and then completing the BonusStage after finishing said level. However, if you fail at the bonus stage, you are unable to simply retry immediately. Instead, you have to replay ''the entire level all over again'' (and collect the three Red Gems again) to get a second chance.
* SoOkayItsAverage: It's mostly a passable, if clunky, 3D platformer with a solid soundtrack.
* ThatOneLevel: The second Cave of Wonders level ends with an ice sliding section. The problem is that the slide is relatively narrow, and Aladdin turns very widely, which means that staying on the slide without falling is much more difficult than you'd first expect. Moreover, most of the time you'll find that Aladdin is not sliding in a straight line, meaning that if you didn't turn at the precise time or angle then you can easily find yourself falling off. It is possible to reposition yourself, but this is both difficult and not immediately obvious. Overall, this section is far harder than most anything else you're expected to do in the game, and most players feel the need to grind lives in the earlier stages just to have a chance to get through it.
