It's also better known for its main gameplay feature of guarding and [[VisualNovel exploring the]] [[JourneyToTheCenterOfTheMind psyches of]] emotionally vulnerable, magic-using young women who get dressed in increasingly fanservicey costumes or, as of the third game, progressively strip off more and more clothes over the course of a fight to draw on more power. The first game felt a little like the fanservice was thrown in to draw attention, but after that they kept pushing for more. |
