''Dex Davis: Child of God!'' is a Christian animated direct-to-DVD series created by Horace [[{{MeaningfulName}} Christian]], Jr. in 2012. The series revolves around [[{{ProtagonistTitle}} Dex Davis]], [[{{ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin}} a child of God.]] He, along with his friends Jimmy, Kisha, Adam, and Peggy, get themselves involved in mishaps, usually ending with Dex being the one to resolve them through the power of God. The series antagonist, J.D., is the school bully who constantly troubles Dex.

Creator Horace Christian says he created this cartoon because he noticed that a lot of cartoons nowadays have them doing ridiculously immoral things. He claims that God told him to make a Christian series that shows kids how to live right. So far, the series has only three episodes that are available on DVD on the [[http://www.dexdavis.com website]], or you can watch it on Platform/{{Vimeo}} [[https://vimeo.com/ondemand/dexdaviscartoon here]] for a reasonable price.

!!Dex Davis provides examples of:
* AndKnowingIsHalfTheBattle: All the episodes have a Bible verse that is reminded to us at the end by the live-action host H.C. Inverted, as all the episodes have the Bible verse in the middle of the episode.
* AnimationBump: The animation gets slightly smoother throughout the series. Emphasis on slightly.
* AllThereInTheManual: [[http://www.dexdavis.com The website]] has character descriptions for all the characters, including backstories that were never brought up in the series.
* BigBad: J.D. is this for Dex.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The first episode's opening scene has Dex throwing a firecracker at Rosko, the neighborhood dog, and he gets chased by him. Dex escapes by getting on a bus to school, and after this happens, it just cuts straight to the theme song, and it's never brought up again (albeit Rosko is a recurring character in the series).
* BookDumb: J.D., who is in the same 5th grade class as Dex and his friends at 14 years old.
* CallBack: J.D. repeatedly reminds Dex about the time when [[spoiler:he got suspended (thanks to Dex) for spraying graffiti on the teacher's chalkboard.]]
* GratuitousSpanish: Jimmy.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: Episodes 2 and 3 constantly CallBack to the time when [[spoiler:Dex ratted on J.D. for spraying graffiti on the chalkboard, and when they won the talent show in Episode 2.]] This is why we recommend that you watch the episodes in order.
