''Otherworldly'' is an UrbanFantasy webcomic about five twenty-something young adults who have recently found out they're not human; they're "changelings", members of TheFairFolk who were swapped as infants with human babies. With the help of two fairy private investigators, the changelings try to figure out who they are in the magical Otherworld, all while juggling life in the human world and encountering sinister figures in ''both'' worlds.

!!''Otherworldly'' contains examples of:

%%* Action Girl: Nicole, and to a lesser extent Erin.
* AllTrollsAreDifferent: Trolls here seem to be aesthetically based on those found in Scandinavian lore, are capable of turning to stone, and some possess SuperStrength.
%%* {{Animorphism}}: Fergal/
%%* AmicablyDivorced: Jerome's human parents.
%%* AgentMulder: Ricki.
%%* BigEater: Lacey.
%%* BunniesForCuteness: Erin's pet rabbit, Chase.
%%* ButchLesbian: Erin.
* CoordinatedClothes: Aelfric and Wulfric always wear similar outfits, with Aelfric in gold and Wulfric in silver.
* DumbassDJ: Barry's radio show co-host, Gil, bordering on ShockJock with his rather homophobic/biphobic jokes.
* ElementalShapeshifter: Trolls, such as the Fjell clan, can turn to stone.
%%* ExtraOreDinary: Jerome.
* TheFairFolk: All magical races are referred to under this title, though they're more morally diverse than traditional depictions.
* FallingChandelierOfDoom: Nicole takes this a step further by ''using said chandelier as a makeshift flail.''
* FantasyCounterpartCulture: Venusberg is clearly the Otherworld's equivalent to Las Vegas. Barry even makes the comparison.
%%* TheGamblingAddict: Barry.
%%* {{Gayngster}}: Fergal and Tielo.
%%* GeneHunting
%%* GenericEthnicCrimeGang: The Unseelie Mob.
* {{Intangibility}}: A common power among elves, and the first power Barry gets.
%%* LoveBubbles: During Erin's first encounter with Fatima.
%%* MafiaPrincess: [[spoiler: Donny, a RareMaleExample.]]
%%* {{Magitek}}
%%* MasterOfIllusion: Elves are capable of this.
* MistakenForGay: [[spoiler: Erin assumes Nicole acts "weird" around her because she's attracted to her. Nicole refutes this by pointing out she's straight.]]
%%* MuggleFosterParents
* OurElvesAreDifferent: Tall, literally white-skinned, capable of illusions and intangibility.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: Human-sized, capable of retracting their wings, pink-skinned, and capable of some form of ElementalPowers
* ParentalAbandonment: All the changelings technically fall under this category, regardless of being raised by human parents. Of particular note are Barry (who's currently missing both his birth father ''and'' his adoptive human mother) and Erin (who spent the majority of her life in the foster care system).
* ParentWithNewParamour: Jerome's pretty awkward around his stepmother Irene.
%%* {{Telepathy}}: [[spoiler: Nicole, who doesn't seem to be happy about this.]]
%%* ThemeTwinNaming: Aelfric and Wulfric.
%%* WhiteAngloSaxonProtestant: Lacey's human family.
