->''"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. I'm sure I'll be fine for an hour without you two. Blimey, this orange tastes awful."''
-->--The Doctor, herself

'''''Jellyneo Doctor Who''''' is a series written by either JohnPaul or Dawn (if there isn't a guest writer). It's basically the New Series of ''Series/DoctorWho'' reworked, recycled, stripped of the cruddy parts, with a dash of Jellyneo thrown in. Every episode has at least seven shoutouts to pop culture, British television (especially ''Series/RedDwarf'') and the past events of Jellyneo themselves.

The story began in a [[CrossOver crossover]] with a detective roleplay, oddly enough, but spawned its own series a few weeks later. After regenerating, the Fifth Doctor (not the [[Creator/PeterDavison one]] you're thinking of, this Doctor is still last of the Time Lords, but this Doctor is also a girl) stumbles into the TARDIS where she goes into catatonic shock. Her companion, John Pyper, pilots the TARDIS back to Earth just in time for the first Jupiter landing. The series is on its third season, with a prequel, Classic Jellyneo Doctor Who, in production. The Fifth Doctor has not yet regenerated.

The original author, John Paul, quit his position as head writer right after starting Series Three. Dawnlilly has since taken over, with Ruby (who plays the Doctor in the story) [[DirectedByCastMember writing a guest two-parter herself]]. John Paul had since returned, and he and Dawn were planning a no-holds-barred superfinale for Series 3. However, [[DeadFic Series Three never got completed.]]

It's part [[AffectionateParody loving parody]], part [[FanFic fan fiction]], part [[MythologyGag inside]] [[ShoutOut joke]][[ContinuityNod apalooza]], it is Jellyneo Doctor Who.
----
!!''Jellyneo Doctor Who'' provides examples of the following:

%%* ActionGirl: Gia Inflexi, Dawn Lillian, and of course, the Doctor.
* AdaptationDistillation: Imagine Doctor Who without the continuity problems, and you'll probably get something close to this.
* AffablyEvil: The Collector actually kind of cares about the Doctor, even if it is only as a master loves his pet.
%%* AlienInvasion: Happens almost every episode.
%%* AliensSpeakingEnglish: [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], since the TARDIS is around.
* AlternateUniverse: Mallowneo. Also sort of a [[ChekhovsGun Chekhov's Universe]] since [[spoiler: John Pyper, after being turned into a Time Lord, takes the Master's TARDIS, a sonic screwdriver, and a K-9]] and stays to protect Mallowneo.
* AndYourRewardIsClothes: The Doctor saves the Jupiter mission from [[spoiler: the Daleks, [[JustForFun/RickRoll rickrolls]] the entire nation of Jellyneo in order to save them from a mind-control plot]] and gets nothing for it but a bad orange and a rainbow sweater. On the plus side though, [[BeautyIsNeverTarnished her clothes never get dirty.]] This is [[LampShaded lampshaded]] in a later episode.
* ArcWords: Several. [[spoiler:[[HumanAlien Cataclysm]], [[DeathIsCheap the Inferno Pull]], and the currently unexplained 6:43.]]
* AwesomeAnachronisticApparel: The Doctor looks like she could be from the '80s. [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools Not that that's a bad thing.]]
* BadassNormal: Dawn Lillian.
* BigHam: The Celestial Toymaker.
* BiggerOnTheInside: The TARDIS.
* ChekhovsGunman:
** The Head of Buckets and [[spoiler:Zador]].
** [[spoiler:Samael Spade]] in Bloody Sonday.
* CrisisCrossover: The first and second series finales.
* CrossThrough:
** The Quintet of Fatal Doom consists of the Doctor meeting her past incarnations.
** The current arc [[spoiler:6:43]] crosses through to GIA and JUMP.
%%* DeadpanSnarker: The Doctor, obviously. Zador as well.
%%* ExpositionFairy: The Doctor, and most of the villains.
* {{Expy}}:
** The episode titles, up until Series Three, were variations of the New Who episode titles. The plots however, were not.
** Sunnyneo and Jellyneo as America and Britain, respectively.
** The [[Series/TheSarahJaneAdventures Gia Inflexi Adventures]] and [[Series/TorchWood JUMP]].
* EasterBunny: ''An Easter Dalek.'' He even gets his own spinoff series with a Christmas Cyberman, and a Thanksgiving Vashta Nerada.
%%* EverythingSensor: The TARDIS.
* FateWorseThanDeath: The Doctor does this to [[spoiler: the Vampyres]] after [[spoiler: she lost her fiance and regained her Time Lord nature.]]
* HumanAlien: The Doctor. Later taken to the obvious extreme with [[spoiler: John Pyper]].
%%* HatesBeingTouched: The Doctor.
* HiddenInPlainSight: The arc themes revolve around this, hiding clues in each episode of the season.
* KleptomaniacHero:
** The Doctor likes to keep things, like Cyberman heads and Dalek bodies and such. [[spoiler: This actually proves useful in the Series One finale.]]
** Also in the series finale, [[spoiler: John Pyper]] steals the [[spoiler: Master's]] TARDIS and ship.
** In the series finale of series two, the old woman. [[spoiler: [[SubertedTrope Subverted, though]] since she's really the Master.]]
* LawOfConservationOfDetail: Where to begin? Let's start with the tiny button the Doctor places on the door in the series two finale.
** And Zador's brief mention of the Bucket War. [[spoiler: He becomes the Head of Buckets in the future.]]
** The [[spoiler: Daleks]] appearing at the end of "New Forums." The reason for this is revealed in the Series One finale.
** Mallowneo's time difference from real-time.
** The mysterious person who blasted the Cyberman Cyborg at the end of "Brains in Jars". [[spoiler: It's the Master!]]
** The old woman zapping herself in a chair at the end of "the Resurrection Experiment". [[spoiler: It's the Master again!]]
** The teleportation of gravity in the Series One finale proves useful to the future Doctor in "the Shakespeare Mode".
** The Doctor watching a live performance of Richard the Third played out by '''''Shakespeare himself''''' in the past as the protagonist and with the Doctor and Dawn as players and not doing anything to stop it. It turns out that [[spoiler: this is the future version of the Fifth Doctor and she already knows what's going to happen.]]
** The massive ship, the Doctor's Companion, seen in "Pasts and Futures" and the "Knight of the Red Box" mentioned in the same episode. [[spoiler: When John Pyper becomes a Time Lord and stays in Mallowneo, he steals the Master's massive ship and her TARDIS. The TARDIS is in the form of a British phone booth (a red box) and he renames the ship [[MeaningfulName the Doctor's Companion, since that's what he was]]]].
* MythologyGag:
** [[Creator/BilliePiper John Pyper's name.]]
** There are no [[AIIsACrapshoot sat navs]] in JUMP vans. Gia says it is because JUMP knows that sat navs can be used to control cars. [[Recap/DoctorWhoS30E4TheSontaranStratagem Doesn't that sound familiar?]]
* MysteriousPast: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted.]] We don't know her past because it hasn't been written yet.
* NextSundayAD: Mallowneo.
* NinjaPirateRobotZombie: The [[spoiler: Dalek-Cyberman-Time Lord-Human-thing at the end of the Series One finale, also called a Masterman.]]
* PurelyAestheticGlasses: The Doctor, although she might actually need them. We're not sure.
* ScheduleSlip: Common,and eventually [[DeadFic terminal]]
* ShoutOut: The Collector, while looking through his files to find the one about the Time Lords, finds ones for [[Franchise/StarTrek Tribbles]] and [[ComicBook/HawkMan Thanagarians]].
* SpinOff: The Gia Inflexi Adventures, Classic Jellyneo Doctor Who, JUMP.
* TheCollector: [[InvokedTrope Invoked]] by name by the character [[MeaningfulName who also happens to be named the Collector.]]
* TrustMeImADoctor: No duh!
* VaguenessIsComing: The Cataclysm.
