[[WMG: The entire Celebrity Deathmatch crew is a group of JustForFun/{{Time Lord}}s.]]
* Wouldn't be a WMG page unless ''someone'' said that.
** That Time Machine does look an awful lot like a phone booth.
*** Actually, the time machine itself isn't the TARDIS. The broadcast booth is.

[[WMG: Eric Fogel will revive this show when ''Glenn Martin, DDS.'' gets cancelled.]]
* Think about it. The show was originally revived without Fogel because he was working on "Starveillance". But, when the show ([[ScrewedByTheNetwork very quickly]]) got cancelled, Fogel didn't get hired back to work on the show because 2 other guys took his place. So now, with the show in limbo again, and Fogel working on ''another'' show, there's a chance that once "Glenn Martin, DDS." gets cancelled, he'll fallback on his old show and produce new episodes (probably on a new network [[ScrewedByTheNetwork since there's no sign of MTV2 bringing it back]]) for it. However, this all hinges on if he hated Seasons 5 and 6 or not...
** I didn't think it was possible, but it's [[http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/14/mtv2-ordered-pilot-celebrity-deathmatch confirmed!]]

[[WMG: None of the celebrities actually die.]]

* Sometimes the show brought characters back for second matches after already having died, such as Hanson making a guest appearance in Marilyn Manson vs. Garth Brooks despite already having been killed by Marilyn. But how can this be if they are dead? Simple. You can't die while in the Deathmatch ring. You only get incapacitated for long enough that the referee can announce the winner, and then it's all fine. This also explains how the celebrities survive some of the injuries inflicted, such as Sylvester Stallone reassembling after dissolving, and Bigfoot and Richard Nixon still being able to talk after getting killed. This also explains why it's considered fine to kill people who are in the ring, even if they're not combatants (as shown in Music/KidRock vs. Music/{{Eminem}} when Joe C kills Carson Daly), but killing audience members isn't. The only problem with this theory is the "Music/BackstreetBoys vs. Music/{{NSYNC}}" and "Macaulay Culkin vs. Creator/HaleyJoelOsment" match.
** It also doesn't explain Don King's case. He died in every episode while he was in the audience, but when Donald Trump offed him in the ring, he never came back.
** The revival had celebrities "come back from the dead" like [[Music/{{U2}} Bono]], Creator/BruceWillis, [[Series/TheSopranos James Gandolfini]], [[Creator/MaryKateAndAshleyOlsen Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen]], Music/MissyElliott, [[TheGiant Shaquille O'Neal]], Creator/AdamSandler, Creator/BenStiller, Creator/ChrisRock, [[TheyKilledKennyAgain Ricky Martin]], Creator/PamelaAnderson, [[Music/MotleyCrue Tommy Lee]], Carson Daly, and [[TheyKilledKennyAgain Nick Lachey]] with [[UnexplainedRecovery no explanation how]] they came back (in addition, while she doesn't appear in the revival, Music/BritneySpears is most likely alive considering how one episode shows Kevin Federline with their newborn baby).
*** They have the Time Machine. If they need to bring someone back, they'll bust it out. It's been shown that that's how they bring in people who were DeadToBeginWith, like Music/BobMarley.
** It's explained in the first "Salute to Laughter" episode that there's a medical facility which nurses the losers of previous Deathmatches back to health.
*** Which confirms the theory, doesn't it?
** "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has the able to create "super freaks", why not human clones. He can create a freak BornAsAnAdult, so cloning a character wouldn't be that hard.

[[WMG: Tally Wong was the one behind Stacy Cornbred's death.]]

* I have a theory that sometime in the past, before or during the original run of the show, Stacy did or said something that upset Tally so much that she wanted her dead. So she concocted a plan to have Stacy killed off. How could this be possible? She might've spiked Stacy's food with something that caused her to spontaneously combust. And in the revival, when she dares Johnny and Nick to bring her back... she's saying that so that if they comply, she can get to kill her ''again.''
** If that's the case, she should've tried that on Debbie Matenopoulos as well, don't you think?
*** She could've, except that I doubt Debbie was that big of a priority for Tally, hence why she never brings up her name when insulting Johnny and Nick.

[[WMG: The backstage interviewer for the second revival, should there be a new one, will be hated by both Johnny and Nick.]]

* Think about it. Stacy Cornbred was well-liked by both of them when she was still alive, Debbie was loathed by Nick while Johnny was on the neutral side (and even had an affair with her at one point), and Tally was hated by Johnny while Nick was the neutral one. I think it'd make sense that, should they have someone be the new backstage interviewer for the recent revival, will earn herself the hatred of both Johnny and Nick.

[[WMG: The new revival of the show will have a lot of BitingTheHandHumor towards MTV.]]

[[WMG: Rick Martin was sent to deal with Marilyn Manson.]]

* When you look at the ending of Death Bowl 98, one would notice [[spoiler: Mel B (Scary Spice)]] was able to move, resulting in a default win as there has to be at one member left. In later episodes, this has been pointed out. However, as Garth Brooks had a reason to deal with Marilyn Manson, not much of why Music/RickyMartin was chosen to deal with Manson, apart from upstaging. However, that can happen to anybody else, yet Manson was targeted. Looking back at Death Bowl 98, it's possible [[spoiler: Mel B]] could've told someone, like Ricky Martin, what happened. Martin was likely doing a favor for her.

[[WMG: Potential Deathmatches and reasons why.]]

* [[WesternAnimation/TwelveForever Julia Vickerman]] vs [[WesternAnimation/RenAndStimpy John Kricfalusi]]
** reason: Cartoon Animators duke it out to get their career-ending controversies expunged.
* The creator of Facebook vs. The creator of Twitter.
