Context Trivia / SuperDragonBallHeroes

* BTeamSequel: None of the animators working in the series are Toei's best, as they were working to make ''Anime/DragonBallSuperBroly'' at the time. To quote [=AnimeAjay=], ''Heroes'' is not meant to be a groundbreaking anime, being extended versions of the ''Videogame/DragonBallHeroes'' commercials, with voice acting in this case.
** The key animators are Yukihiro Kitano and Jin Inaba. Kitano was the supervisor for many of ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'''s questionable episodes (24, 62) and was demoted by the point of the Universal Survival Saga.
** Creator/TadayoshiYamamuro, who was the character designer for much of the franchise since ''Anime/DragonBallZ'', was replaced after ''Super'' ended, with Shintani taking over for the ''Super'' movie. He, however, still works as the character designer and storyboard artist for ''Heroes''.
** Ryo Nanba marks his debut as an episode director with episode 1. Nanba began as an Assistant Production Manager for ''Super'', and later became an Assistant Director.
** Subverted in Episode 13, for at least one sequence. Naotoshi Shida is one of the best-regarded Dragon Ball animators, whose work can be traced as far back as the original ''Manga/DragonBall'' and to as recently as ''Dragon Ball Super Broly''. Of course, without a weekly TV anime or a movie in production now, it's likely that more talent can be spared for tangential projects.
* FanTranslation: The series has been translated by a team of fans involving [=Terez27=] (moderator of the [[Website/{{Reddit}} /dbz/ subreddit]], in charge of production), Cipher and [=SailorSpazz=] (members of kanzenshuu, in charge of the translation) and [=AnimeAjay=] (in charge of typesetting). [[https://twitter.com/Terez27/status/1215840636307460096 They decided]] to stop at episode 19, with the conclusion of the second arc due to a lack of interest, people on Youtube stealing their content and finding Heroes, in Terez words, "painfully bad."
* NoExportForYou: The ''Heroes'' promotional anime is only being released in Japan and is region-locked, so fans will have to watch it somewhere else. Also leads to a case of NoDubForYou.
