No matter how good a script appeared to be, it would be rewritten by Creator/GeneRoddenberry. If possible, scenes of sexual content would be inserted into the script. When two such scenes were put into "The Naked Now", in addition to other scenes which I felt debased the female characters of the series, I put my sentiments into a frankly worded memo of comment on the script. My comments were ignored. |
