1	* ActingForTwo: Often the case due to the small cast of voice actors.

3	** For Creator/AndrewFrancis: The guy who voiced a previous [[Anime/MegaManNTWarrior hero that wears a form-fitting suit]] is now voicing a new form-fitting suit-wearing hero.
4	** In episode 10, [[spoiler:when Kirby is possessed by the Blade of Murukami, he sounds almost identical to Manga/{{Inuyasha}}, one of Creator/RichardIanCox's famous roles.]]
5	* ChannelHop: The series initially aired on Disney XD and later on moved to Netflix. It temporarily aired on [[Creator/KidsClick KidsClick]] and some of its movies were released on Amazon Prime, Sky Store and Showmax.
6	* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: The official website has a lots of errors. For instance, Toxzon's profile is literally the same as Air Elementor.

8	** The cover for the "Max Steel: Turbo Warrior" video game from Digital Meltdown is a concept art of Max's Turbo Strength Mode.
9	** Some of the rejected concepts from the series are used on the toy line. Examples are Night Howl's toy line design, which are a reference to the storyboards of "Turbo-Charged" and Rocket Nova Max Steel, an action figure which is based on an earlier concept of the third season where Nova mode was originally the fusion of Rocket and Nova modes.
10	* ContentLeak: Happened quite a lot with the series.
11	** A sizzle for the series (at an early stage) was released online. Fans of the classic series weren't so happy with the changes so Mattel took it down.
12	** The episode "My Best Friend is an Ultralink" was accidentally released on Website/YouTube by the official channel of the series. They did removed it later on, but it had already been reuploaded by fans.
13	** Images of the season 2 finale ([[spoiler:specifically of Jim's return]]) leaked months before the episodes officially aired.
14	** The new Green Turbo Energy and the main villain of the year (Terrorax) was leaked thanks to an Instagram post of an event on Brazil.
15	** A somewhat of an odd example would be when a graphic designer had uploaded his work on the new green logo of the series and Mattel requested him to take it down as he wasn't allowed to show them just yet. At that point however, the toys with the new logo were already out and pretty much the entire fanbase was aware of the new identity of the brand.
16	* EditedForSyndication: Team Turbo Fusion Tek's beginning was heavily censored on Brazilian channels due to its dark nature. For example, the scene where Mortum absorbs the brainwaves of the couple was almost completely skipped and on the flashbacks of the villain's past there was a point where the Connect-Tek blew on his face and it would show his skull, yet this part was removed and instead it faded to black.
17	* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Much like the previous version, the show was only a moderate success in the US, but is extremely popular on Latin America, especially in Mexico, where the show has a ''really'' big fanbase on Website/YouTube.
18	* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The first and second seasons (albeit partially) were released officially on Website/YouTube and on DVD format. The rest of the season has to be watched ilegally as it was never released on streaming services or as a physical format. The 2015 trilogy was ''never'' released legally anywhere despite English dubbed versions surfaced online back in 2017 on Website/YouTube.
19	* OutOfOrder: In 2014, "My Best Friend is an Ultralink" was released out of order on Website/YouTube. "Definetely Fear The Reaper" had the same treatment on Brazil, where it earlier due to Halloween.
20	** In 2015, Dawn of Morphos, which is cronologically the second film of the 2015 trilogy, was released as the first, which was The Wrath of Makino.

25	* PopCultureUrbanLegends: Before the premiere of the second season, rumors about a character named "Dark Titan" surfaced on the internet. Said character would be the combination of a human named Darnel Anthony Robert Kingston and an Ultralink named Titan. Their dynamic would be similar to Max and Steel, with Darnel generating a darker version of Max's energy named Anti-Turbo Energy and Titan controlling it. The character would supposedly be a major antagonist on the second season along with other characters from the classic series, such as Bio-Constrictor and Electrix. While the character has proven to be merely a fan creation (even with some of [[https://km3d.tumblr.com/search/dark%20titan Mattel workers denying their existence]]), a [[https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/max-steel-ultralink-invasion-dvd/22351256 DVD listing site]] has mentioned the character, showing how far that rumor got.
26	* RoleReprise: Brian Drummond reprises his role as Extroyer/Troy Winter.
27	* ShoutOut: The series is full of them, really. From episode titles parodying films and music (such as [[Film/FullMetalJacket Full Metal Racket]], [[Music/BlueOysterCult Definetely Fear the Reaper]], [[Film/DeepBlueSea Deep Turbo Blue Sea]] and many others) and episodes like Supermania, which is an affectionate parody of superheroe tropes.
28	* ShortRunInPeru: From 2015 to 2017, the animated films were shown first on Latin America. The 2017 films never aired outside of said country.
29	* ScrewedByTheNetwork: On Latin America, Cartoon Network would barely advertise the series' new episodes and fans would often miss the premier of them. The animated films (saving for the 2015 trilogy) had no adversiting and were released ramdonly without a warning.

40	*** Another scene where there is an armored individual who is believed to be either Troy Winter or Max. Right to him it is believed to be an early version of Toxzon, who would be capable of projecting his toxins through his fingers;
41	*** The Elementors would be more "alien"-like, lacking eyes and being more monstrous;
42	*** Max appeared wearing different kinds of helmet during the trailer. Most of them had Max showing his mouth, an idea that the producers eventually introduced in the third season;
43	*** N-Tek isn't mentioned, but instead Max and Berto had a secret hideout where they stored their weapons and created their gadget; Berto also would be introduced as a high school student and would befriend Max.
44	*** "X Marks the Spot" would feature a slightly different plot in which Naught would trap Max and Steel on a deserted island and broadcast their battle to Dread and N-Tek to show that he was worthy.
45	*** "Gone Fishin'" would feature Max falling in a coma-like sleep thanks to Toxzon and Steel and C.Y.T.R.O. would link to find a cure.
46	*** "Split Decisions" would feature Molly and Max going against the Elementors rather than the usual N-Tek team.
47	*** "Pick Your Poison" would originally involve Max, Steel, Berto, Kat and Jefferson going to a party to recover an Ultralink, which was in truth a trap set up by Dread. It should be noted that this episode would contribute to Dread's plan to disrupt the Earth shield rather than being a filler episode.
48	*** "Thanks, I Think", the twenty-fourth episode of the first season, would be originally titled as "Secret Agent Men", featuring Dread as the main antagonist rather than Extroyer. He would create a fake Max Steel to make the public turn against the hero and Max and Ferrus would work together to stop him.

50	*** There was an early trailer of the second season featuring an early design for what seems to be Makino's Alphalink, whose design was quite similar to that of a common Makino Destroyer.
