* TheDanza: Wicket's last name is derived from the first name of the actor who played him in ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi'' and ''Film/StarWarsEwokAdventures'' - Warwick Davis.
* DuelingDubs:
** For a ''Franchise/StarWars'' spin-off, this series has an unusual amount of dubs, which was dubbed about three times in Mexico.
** There's also two Japanese dubs: One for VHS and another for DVD, each one with their respective casts.
* FollowTheLeader: Would you believe that ''Ewoks'' came out of the same period as shows like ''[[WesternAnimation/TheSmurfs1981 The Smurfs]]'' and ''[[WesternAnimation/CareBears1980s Care Bears]]''? In fact, ''Ewoks'' and ''Care Bears'' were animated by the same company, {{Creator/Nelvana}}.
* TheOtherDarrin: For Season 2, the voice cast goes from being recorded in Toronto to being recorded in San Francisco.
* RealLifeRelative:
** In the Mexican dub, Latara and King Gorneesh's voice actors (Creator/RocioGarcel and Jorge Roig Sr.) are married in RealLife, making their relationship in this series as HilariousInHindsight.
** Creator/PaulDini was a writer on this show about Ewoks. Since ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi'' the Ewoks met Princess Leia, voiced by his wife Misty Lee in ''VideoGame/StarWarsBattlefront2015'' and ''VideoGame/StarWarsBattlefrontII2017'' which also featured a mode called "Ewok Hunt." Which is HilariousInHindsight.
* RecycledTheSeries: The cartoon itself is based on the two ''Film/StarWarsEwokAdventures'' movies which were, in turn, developed from ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi''. Bob Carrau, who wrote the screenplay for the first ''Ewok Adventures'' film, went on to write several episodes of the ''Ewoks'' cartoon.
* UnspecifiedRoleCredit: Both seasons end up just crediting the actors without role assignments, with the exception of Jim Henshaw and Creator/CreeSummer as Wicket and Kneesaa (respectively) in the first. The entire cast for the first season has since been identified with their roles, in large part due to voice familiarity with Creator/{{Nelvana}}'s other series, while the Season 2 cast largely remains a mystery as to who voices who.
* YouSoundFamiliar:
** In the Japanese dub, Creator/BinShimada (who voiced Paploo in the DVD dub) is the current official voice actor for Luke Skywalker in the ''Franchise/StarWars'' franchise starting with the Special Editions. Likewise, Creator/KenyuuHoriuchi (Deej in the DVD dub) had many roles in the franchise as well, including voicing Han Solo in the third Nippon TV (NTV) dub, as well as voicing Jon Vander in ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsRebels''.
** The Latin American Spanish dub has many instances of this:
*** Creator/MonicaManjarrez (PD-28 in the original dubbed version) voiced young Princess Leia in the original trilogy.
*** Creator/JoseLuisOrozco (Chief Chirpa in the third dubbed version) is the official dub voice of Bobba Fett.
