1* BannedInChina: Because of its very graphic and disturbing content, the film has been banned in countries including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Korea, and Norway. It was even temporarily banned in Brazil and Spain.
2* ChannelHop: Originally released in the United States by Invincible Pictures, the rights got picked up by Unearthed Films for the 2019 uncut re-release.
3* IronyAsHeIsCast: Vukmir is supposed to be a representation of autocratic leaders in Serbia. Vukmir's actor, Sergej Trifunović, participated in protests against an authoritarian regime under Slobodan Milošević, and is an outspoken critic of the current Aleksandar Vučić government.
4* OneBookAuthor: The film is Srđan Spasojević's debut as director, and outside of ''R is for Removed'' segment for ''Film/TheABCsOfDeath'', he hasn't directed a movie since. However, in 2017, word got around that Spasojević is doing a supernatural horror-western film titled ''Whereout'' with Unearthed Films' backing. [[DevelopmentHell Though time will tell if this could get out of light]].
