4	** The ability to recruit pretty much any common mook in the game by taking them down non-lethally to work for you was also a notable mechanic in ''Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain'' (and ''Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker'' before that). The fact that the main characters of both ''Odyssey'' and ''[=MGSV=]'' are famous mercenaries who seemingly can recruit on reputation alone only reinforces the similarities.
5	* HeAlsoDid: Dai Tabuchi, the voice actor for Kiyoshi Takakura had previously voiced the aide-de-camp of ''VideoGame/TotalWarShogun2''.

7	** In a surprising reprise in the Japanese dub, Creator/JojiNakata, who voices Leonidas, already voiced that same historical character in the dub of ''Film/ThreeHundred'', a fact he personally lampshaded in his Twitter account.
8	** The same applies to the Russian dub, where Vladimir Antonik has also previously voiced Leonidas in ''300'' and was picked specifically because of that.
9	** Even better, in the Spanish Dub, Jordi Boixaderas voices Leonidas, who voiced him in 300, after voicing Bayek in the previous game, making the Eagle Bearer's predecesor being both the previous game's protagonist as well as their Grandfather.
