* BrokenBase: The XRayVision-based style of the mod may either appear as cute or disturbing depending on who you ask.
* HeyThatsMyLine: Quite a few people treated Ruv calling Boyfriend "little man" as stealing [[VideoGame/SmokeEmOutStruggle Garcello]]'s line.[[note]]For those who haven't played ''Smoke 'Em Out Struggle'' before, people treated Garcello's line, "Tight bars, little man", as his {{Catchphrase}}.[[/note]]
* MemeticMutation:
** "Everybody gangsta 'till the arrows have bones"[[labelnote:Explanation]]The arrows in the game, minus the cross arrows seen in "Gospel" from the ''VideoGame/MidFightMasses'' version, are blue with bones inside them to match the XRayVision look of the mod, but it can come off as weird for some.[[/labelnote]]
** Ruv's balls[[labelnote:Explanation]]If a character has balls, expect at least one person to notice it and point it out. This is made apparent with X-Ruv, whose design has a pair of blue-colored balls seemingly as if he is blue-balled, in a good majority of the comments of one ''VideoGame/MidFightMasses'' X-Ray-related video. Some were even comparing his design to X-Boyfriend, who (for the most part) has no visible balls.[[/labelnote]]

''[[https://gamebanana.com/mods/44236 Friday Night Funkin': Mic'd Up]]'' is an engine for ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin'' [[GameMod mods]] that is notable for being used in mods such as ''[[VideoGame/FridayNightFunkinENTITY V.S. A.G.O.T.I.]]'', ''VideoGame/StarlightMayhem'', and much more. This engine adds new features to spruce up your mod a little, including but not limited to new gameplay modes, applicable modifiers, ranks that you can get for each song, and even ''three'' new difficulties - [[EasierThanEasy Noob]], [[HarderThanHard Expert, and Insane]].

However, this engine was discontinued after its latest release, Version 2.0.3., as the creators recommended better options such as ''Kade Engine'' or ''Psyche Engine'', and the Github source code has been marked as archived and has not been updated for months.

!! ''Mic'd Up'' provides examples of:
* EasierThanEasy: The "Noob" difficulty. It's much easier than Easy mode, mind the [[EasyModeMockery mocking name of the difficulty]].
* HarderThanHard: "Expert" and "Insane" are this as they have harder charts than the vanilla "Hard" mode that's also included here.
* MirrorBoss: You can effectively turn any boss into this with the "Boyfriend Must Die" modifier, which lets you set whenever or not your health will be drained when the opponent hits a note and by how much.

It was based on a comic that Boyle and his niece made, ''Recap/TheTailOfFlopsyMopsyAndTed'', with the most notable differences being the plot and the character designs.

[[folder:Web Animation/Happy Tree Friends Amnesia]]
''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends Amnesia'' is a web series of fan-animated music videos created by Sebastian Rodriguez on Website/YouTube. The story revolves around a mysterious wolf deity who spreads a [[TheCorruption corruption]] throughout the ''Happy Tree Friends'' world, turning any infected into his brainwashed minions who kill those who don't end up infected. However, some of the Tree Friends lucky enough to not get brainwashed ''and'' survive decide to fight back against this evil being and his subjects in hopes of restoring their once peaceful world.

!! ''Happy Tree Friends Amnesia'' provides examples of:
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Xeba's sinners, who were just normal Tree Friends until Xeba brainwashed them and forced them into attacking those not under his rule.
* TheCorruption: The one Xeba unleashes upon the world. Spreading via electromagnetic pules and towers, those who end up infected by it gain sharp teeth (in a similar vein to Fliqpy) and black eyes with red pupils and black tears coming out, just like Xeba himself.
* EldritchAbomination: Xeba. Capable of [[{{Brainwashed}} brainwashing the masses]] via TheCorruption and force his corrupted minions to attack innocent Tree Friends, [[RealityWarper warping reality]], mimicing the strength and power of any foe he comes across, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking levitation]]. Surely, you can consider him as one of these.
* MoodWhiplash: In the first video,
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Xeba and his sinners have black eyes with red pupils. Flippy, while gaining black sclera like the rest of the sinners once under Xeba's control, ends up with blue ring-shaped pupils instead.

While out on an evening date at a boardwalk, Boyfriend and Girlfriend notice Valerie looking out into the sunset. The first three notes she sings of "Fresh" get answered back by Boyfriend, who promptly challenges her to a rap battle. While she's anxious about it at first, she eventually starts getting into it. Who knows, maybe their duel might outlast even the wrath of the elements!

* FriendlyEnemy: Valerie has no intention of hurting Boyfriend or Girlfriend, if the ending is anything to go by.
* NonMammalMammaries: Valerie, a hermit crab, has visible breasts.
* OneWingedAngel: Downplayed, but done twice. She goes from opera to popstar form at the beginning of "Divebomb", and [[spoiler:her hair darkens like a thunder cloud and causes a ''huge storm'' before Hurricane]]. Granted, she wasn't trying to harm the couple.

[[caption-width-right:350:Map of Gikumo by Connor on [[https://www.deviantart.com/sugarglazenavalblock/art/Planet-Gikumo-880649060 DeviantArt]].]]
''Gikumo'' is a fictional NatureDocumentary series created by Creator/ConnerDean, the guy responsible for the original version of ''Fanfic/TheInanimateMisadventures'' as well as ''Fanfic/StruggleForDreamIsland''. It was created when Connor decided that his now cancelled show ''WebAnimation/{{Sinful}}'' should be redone into a nature documentary series instead of the DarkerAndEdgier spiff on the repetitive competition show format that he originally wanted. A user on Website/DeviantArt suggested that he should continue ''Sinful'' as is, albeit with a ContentWarning, while the nature documentary would be st set in a different universe and be spiritual to ''Sinful'' in terms of the wildlife. However, he ended up dropping ''Sinful'' altogether and focused on the nature documentary, which was officially dubbed ''Gikumo''.

''Gikumo'' was inspired by documentaries based around prehistoric wildlife (such as ''WesternAnimation/WhenDinosaursRoamedAmerica'' and ''Series/PlanetDinosaur''), ''Literature/{{Expedition}}'', ''Series/Extraterrestrial2005'', works by Creator/DougalDixon, and ''WesternAnimation/Primal2019''. Given some of these inspirations, you know there are going to be some elements of SpeculativeFiction.

On another planet, a branch of black-limbed organisms split into two, with one branch becoming [[AnimateInanimateObject the "objects"]], with the trait of being TheAgeless. With their closest relatives threatened by pollution, poaching, habitat loss, and climate change, the objects terraformed a threat-free alien planet they named "[[ThePlace Gikumo]]" and sent their evolutionary cousins there. As a result of this, these wild creatures evolved into all kinds of shapes and sizes. It would only take a million years for the objects to begin research on Gikumo wildlife via drones.

!! ''A Little Help From Your Friends'' contains the following tropes:
* ImpossibleLeavening: Not with yeast, but with Super-Duper Baking Powder. Wanting the cake to be really big, Wubbzy pours a ''box's worth'' of the baking powder into his cake mixture, causing it to rise extremely quickly.

* AmazingTechnicolorWildlife: Among the [=PooYoos=], there is a purple rabbit, a green mouse, and a lavender cow.
* ChromosomeCasting: The English version of ''Learning with the [=PooYoos=]'' refers to every [=PooYoo=] with a male pronoun ("That's it, he did it!", "He wants to give you a present!").
* RuleOfThree: Each wrokshop has three segments: a minigame, a dancing segment, and a segment where the main [=PooYoo=] is usually given a present from another [=PooYoo=].

Just one of several members of the Pomily, a group of feminine-looking, furry humanoid monsters. It gets its bright-pink pelt from eating only red-colored foods, although its Rare cousins eat indigo-colored foods instead and its Epic counterparts share a passion for the culinary arts that gives it a white and fluffy pelt and colorful stripes on its arms and legs. As you'd expect from a Monster that resembles a PomPomGirl, the [=PomPom=] cheers to the music with similar enthusiasm while waving around its pompoms it is so named for. It's also known for adventuring and exploring, with the younger specimens investigates anything unusual immediatly after hatching. Mature [=PomPoms=] display impressive motivational skills and are able to recruit a team of willing followers.
----
* CuteMonsterGirl: As the first Pomily member to be introduced into the game, it ended up paving the way for other similarly furry, feminine-looking monsters such as Hoola and Sooza. 157
The boss Monster of Air Island. Initially a secretive species, the habits of the masterful Riff became became more known as time went on from their initial introduction in the Air Island update. The guitar the Riff carries is actually alive, and it shares a symbiotic relationship with it. As one would expect, it strums on its living guitar to produce...well, an electric guitar sound. Riffs also grab objects with their clawed feed to inspect, and will exchange food for whispered messages affirming their musical performance. Young Riffs wield toy guitars to prepare them for a real, living one, and the life-like guitars work just as well as the real deal.

-->"The ancient Kayna was long thought lost to an enigmatic event in monster antiquity. A solitary specimen encased in amber was rescued on Tribal Island. It's true, but only recently did a new generation of these beings begin to appear, beckoned by the mysterious call of Relics resonating deep within the world's volcanic core. Now this feisty Fire Elemental is ready to play its part in restoring the glory of its powerful Element in the Monster World."

During the summer event[[note]]What it was called a tthe time; it wouldn't be called [=SummerSong=] for three more years[[/note]] of 2015, Tribal Island was discovered, with its centerpiece being this particular monster trapped within amber. It is where players could form tribes with their friends or other players and feed their monsters coins, treats, or shards to earn Starpower and other rewards. If a tribe had strong enough monsters to weaken the hold of the amber (aka, reach Level 100), the trapped monster could be ffreed. This monster would be revealed as Kayna, who would go on to inhabit the Fire Islands (Fire Haven and Oasis), the Magical Islands (Light, Psychic, Faerie, and Bone), and Amber Island years later--regardless of whenever or not the player had already freed Kayna on Tribal Island once before. Young Kaynas are particularly popular at parties, enthusiastically roasting marshmallows for everyone, while more mature members of the species are considered feisty and endlessly fueled by the interactiosn of the elements around it. The Rare Kayna is actually the ancestors of the Common variant, with intricate, tattoo-like markings around their wrists and ankles as a representation of their age and wisdom. The Epic Kayna, meanwhile has a connection with the Living Core of the Monster World so powerful, it had evolved to had horns, claws, hooves, and wings that [[WingsDoNothing hardened to the point that they are useless]], alongside deep-set eyes and a purplish-blue glow.

The Kayna is notably the only monster on Amber Island that is always available, and thus has no time limit. It is also one of the two monsters the player starts out with in ''My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire'', alongside the Noggin.

But like any well-balanced Monster, Sooza's physical strength doesn't hold a candle to the robust heart that its friends know so well. Sooza is always prepared to drop everything (except its horn) so it can listen to a Monster in need and lift their spirits."

A more taller member of the Pomily that has its namesake sousaphone wrapped around itself. While it isn't noticeable as a Monsterling, its height becomes apparent once it comes of age. The Sooza has a great sense of strengh and balance, and will drop everything aside form its sousaphone to help others in need. The Rare Sooza has a flat-topped head that it can tild back to plug up its sousaphone for a more smoother, muted sound.

A Magical Monster that was added during the Spooktacle of 2020. The [=TooToo=] makes celeste-like synth chimes by prancing around like a ballerina. The Rare variant leaves a pink trail as opposed to the Common's yellow one as it dances, alongside having longer ears that twist around each other. Others insist that they are just born that way, arriving in a puff of brightly-colored feathers. In any case, a Schmoochle is always a welcome addition to the Air Island chorus."

A cupid-like, two-headed monster representing the Season of Love. Although its origins were initially shrouded in mystery, its ''Dawn of Fire'' bio reveals that it was born after the brightly-colored feathers blown into one spot, containing the love messages exchanged between two monsters named "Val" and "Tines", clumped together from the strengh of the senders' love and achieved SpontaneousGeneration. The Rare Schmoochle has two eyes on each head as opposed to one, and it claims to see love in all its forms, although the heart on its chest is stiched up due to misunderstandings and petty arguments causing it to break. The Epic Scmoochle prefers public displays of affection, such as whispering sweet nothings or stealing quick smooches.
----
* BlowYouAway: Its two regular elemental moves in the Colossingum, Fluttery Sensation and Rainbow Chase, are of the Air element.
* DishingOutDirt: Applying the Dashing Suitor costume to a Schmoocle in the Colossingum will replace its musical move, Sweet Nothings, with an Earth-elemental one.

-->"The playful Blabbit shares a common ancestor with the Reedling, and developed an equally eccentric adaptation for breathing - blowing bubbles! As it releases the bubbles, it makes an adorable trilling sound which endears it to the other Monsters. This is lucky for the Blabbit, because it also has a reputation for being a bit of a nuisance when it 'borrows' Monster eggs to paint and hide all over the place."

An egg-obsessed, rabbit-like monster representing Eggs-Travaganza. It is actually related to the more canine Reedling and breathes by blowing bubbles. It once got lost in a kelp forest in the shallow waters of the Water Lands back in the Dawn of Fire, and--since said incident--marks its path by "[[InsistentTerminology borrowing]]" Monster Eggs, painting them bright colors, and hiding them in strategic locations. The Rare Blabbit, which resembles [[Franchise/StarWars Jabba the Hutt]], notably plans for intense egg raids, and its serpentine form helps in covering its tracks. The Epic Blabbit, resembling a jackelope, was once thought to be a myth before hopping into the scene to prove its existence...mainly due to it being tired of the gossip and unflattering imagry. Since the two-part 2019 trailer, Common Blabbit is shown to be a detective in trailers relating to Eggs-Travaganza.
----
* AnIcePerson: Applying the Big Shell-Out costume to a Blabbit in the Colossingum will replace its musical move, Eggs-tra Helping, with a Cold-elemental one.
* MakingASplash: Its two regular elemental moves in the Colossingum, Bubble Burst and Troubled Waters, are of the Water element.

-->"Often mistaken for a [=PomPom=] that has expanded its traditional diet of exclusively red foods, the Hoola is actually a distinct creature. This doesn't stop them from getting along famously, and they share something of a sisterly bond. The Hoola is a born troublemaker, pulling pranks on other Monsters and using its special hoop to get up to all kinds of mischief. Luckily, a [=PomPom=] is usually nearby to help set things right."

A member of the Pomily representing [=SummerSong=]. It twirls around itself its namesake hula hoop, which it uses for its tricks. It has a reputation for playing pranks and generally causing mischief, with its Rare counterpart using two hoops to make up for its bright-red coloration (caused by it overindulging in the common [=PomPom=]'s exclusively red-colored diet) making it less easy for it to sneak up on other Monsters or pull pranks. Thankfully, a [=PomPom=] is usually there to keep its distant cousin under control. With the exception of Seasonal Shanty, the Hoola duets with [=PomPom=] with a higher pitch voice that is described to lend itself to summerly vibes. The bio for Epic Hoola doesn't really mention pranking at all and instead focusus on it being a world-renowned DJ known for its legendary secret shows (in reference to its gimmick during [=SummerSong=]). In trailers, all three Hoolas work together as DJ Epic during the [=SummerSong=] season, with the Common Hoola doing the live performance, the Epic Hoola producing the songs, and the Rare Hoola doing the technical side.
----
* BlowYouAway: Applying the DJ Epic Drip costume to a Hoola in the Colossingum will replace its musical move, Hoop and Holler, with an Air-elemental one.
* CuteMonsterGirl: It has a feminine appearance due to being a member of the Pomily, and it's even stated to be mistaken for a [=PomPom=] that has expanded on its traditional diet.
* DishingOutDirt: Its two regular elemental moves in the Colossingum, Sandstorm and Fun in the Sun, are of the Earth element.

For a limited time, it will wrench itself out of the ground, and attempt to spook other Monsters with its boisterous song! It apparently works, and easily-startled neighbors would do well to give it a wide berth."

A skeletal monster with a pumpkin (or, Smunkin) head representing Spooktacle. According to one campfire tale, it was spawned when a mischievous spirit 'possessed' a pumpkin from a patch struck by lightning. It usually lays low and buries its body into the ground for most of the year, but comes out come Spootackle and attempt to spook the other Monsters. The Rare Punkleton's head [[BodyHorror rots faster than the others]], so it wears a paper bag to save itself from the embarrassment. The Epic Punkleton, however, prefers to perform for the other Monsters rathen than spooking them out of their wits.
----
* GreenThumb: Its two regular elemental moves in the Colossingum, Gourd Scare and Patchwork Lift, are of the Plant element.
* MakingASplash: Applying the Mouth Waterer costume to a Punkleton in the Colossingum will replace its musical move, Bone Jangles, with a Water-elemental one.

Its arrival is heralded by the jingle bells dangling from its antlers, and the booming resonance of its voice. Just being near a Yool produces feelings of peace and joy, so the other Monsters always try and convince it to stay the whole year round."

A reindeer-humanoid monster represetning the Festival of Yay. It was born from the merriment of the Monsters one winter night, spawning from a "coldman" (snowman) that melted from the Monsters' frenzy, especially those of the Fire element. Towards the end of the year, Yool schedules a vacation on Cold Island, and its arrival is preceded by the sound of the jingle bells on its antlers and its deep, resonating voice. The Rare Yool has an extra pair of antlers and thus extra jingle bells. It also pulled a HeelFaceTurn after learning the joy of friendship. While the Common and Rare Yools are the faces of the Festival of Yay, the Epic counterpart acts as the mastermind, proffering to do things behind the scenes.
----
* AnIcePerson: Its two regular elemental moves in the Colossingum, Wintry Words and Carol of the Yells, are of the Cold element.
* GreenThumb: Applying the Fir Suit costume to a Yool in the Colossingum will replace its musical move, Ho-liday Cheer, with a Plant-elemental one.

!''Splatoon'' manga recaps to relive my childhood

[[folder:Chapter 0: Yellow]]
The very first chapter of the ''[[Manga/{{Splatoon}} Splatoon]]'' [[Manga/{{Splatoon}} manga adaptation]]. It released on May 15th, 2015 - tying into the release of [[VideoGame/{{Splatoon}} the first game]] - with a GeorgeLucasAlteredVersion releasing as part of Volume 1 on July 28th, 2016 in Japan.

This chapter is shorter than the others and featured eelier versions of the characters we now come to know as Goggles, Headphones, Specs, and Bobble Hat.

!!Full Recap
The narrator introduces us to Inkopolis and its residents, the Inklings. When we are introduced to the Inklings, we see two of them in squid form. Both of them turn into their humanoid forms, but one of the Inklings - the boy - isn't wearing clothes (the first of many [[NakedPeopleAreFunny no-clothing moments]] from who would eventually be named Goggles).

The girl (Headphones) slaps Goggles for not wearing clothes, only for him to say that he forgot to put them on. He then returns fully-clothed and ready to meet up with his and her team (Team Blue) at Urchin Underpass for a Turf War.

There, Goggles asks his team (composing of Headphones, another inkling boy later named Specs, and another inkling girl now named Bobble Hat) what a Turf War is and gets the rules of the game mode explained to him. The leader of the other team (Team Yellow), named Paintball Mask in the altered version, brags about how they're going to win the upcoming match, before Specs snaps back saying his team is the best. However, something Specs says causes Goggles to mistake it for ''squid rings''. Headphones asks to start the battle.

The match begins, and Goggles asks Specs about his brush. He explains that it's his weapon, and Headphones shows off her Splat Charger. Bobble Hat, excitedly showing off her Splat Roller, proceeds to crush the boys on her team. Headphones reminds the team about the match. She and Specs transform into squids to pass through a grate, only for Goggles to catch the latter in a box.

As it turns out, the other team knew how foolish Team Blue is and had already covered most of the map. Specs suggests they hit the members of the opposing team to stop them from advancing further, but Goggles sneezes and accidentally shoots Specs, splatting him in an act of accidental friendly fire.

Back at Team Blue's respawn point, Specs attempts to Super Jump towards his team to get back into the action, only to overshoot his jump and fly out of the battle. With Team Yellow having most of the map and Specs gone, the girls on Team Blue resort to using their sub weapons (which don't match the sets in the actual game). Headphones uses a Splash Wall to knock out one of Team Yellow's girls (Tako), while Bobble Hat uses a Splat Bomb to take care of a guy (Gas Mask, who isn't related to Mask). Goggles' Special Weapon fully charges, and with the girls on his team cheering him on, he unleashes the Inkzooka (again, not a part of the Splattershot set from the actual game) to knock out the remaining members of Team Yellow. This scores Team Blue the victory.

After the match, Headphones finally realizes that Specs is missing and is wondering about where he went. As it turns out, he's still in mid-flight, flying over Octo Valley, ending the chapter.

[[folder:Chapter 1: Rider]]
As the opening chapter to the CoroCoro Cup Arc, Rider is the first (official) chapter of the ''[[Manga/{{Splatoon}} Splatoon]]'' [[Manga/{{Splatoon}} manga]]. It came out on December 13th, 2015 as part of CoroCoro's December edition. Also one of the two chapters of the manga with a voiced-over version.

!! Full Recap
The chapter begins with the Squid Sisters announcing the beginning of the CoroCoro Cup. A lot of inklings are around, including Team Blue - Headphones, the TeamMom, is nervous, while Bobble Hat, the Pollyanna, is bouncing about happily. The TeamDad, Specs, notices that one of their team's members, Goggles, is late. Cue the IdiotHero sliding into the scene in his squid form in a trail of blue ink.

Goggles transforms into his humanoid form while explaining that he overslept to reveal he's [[NakedPeopleAreFunny nude]] (which isn't the first time, but definitely not the last). After getting slapped by Headphones for showing up naked, he puts on his clothes and exclaims his excitement for the contest.

After Team Blue is noticed by other inklings and some of them whisper about how they're misfits, a bunch of inklings crowd over and the team see what it's about.

[[folder:Drawn-Out Encounter! Vs. Oodle (FNF x Animated Inanimate Battle mod)]]
!Main Page
''[[https://gamebanana.com/mods/399218 Drawn-Out Encounter! Vs. Oodle]]'' is a ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin'' GameMod crossing over with the web-animated series ''WebAnimation/AnimatedInanimateBattle'' created by [=RabbitRiceBall=], focusing on the host and mascot of the series, Oodle the Doodle.

In this mod, Boyfriend and Girlfriend had found themselves within the Doodleverse, a dimension seen in the web series, [[LostInMediasRes without any explanation on how they got there]]. Upon looking around, they meet Oodle, who is willing to get them out of their situation as they shouldn't be here in the first place.

!!Song List
* Contour
* Easel
* Dimensional

!!''Drawn-Out Encounter!'' provides examples of:
* AmbiguousSituation: The reason as to how Boyfriend and Girlfriend ended up in the Doodleverse was purposefully left out by [=RabbitRiceBall=] to let fans interpret it for themselves.
* ArtShift: Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and the latter's speakers are renders in the style of the Doodleverse from episode 2, being completely white with colored outlines.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: There's really NoFourthWall in the universe of ''Animated Inanimate Battle'' to begin with, but Oodle addresses the players to advertise ''Animated Inanimate Battle'' before "Dimensional".
* TheCameo:
** Raisin and Whoopee Cushion appear to watch Oodle and Boyfriend rap battle after "Contour", and Tivo and Glowstick join in after "Easel".
** Tivo is also present on the title screen of the mod, with Oodle standing on top of him.
* ColorCodedCharacters: Since they're battling in the Doodleverse, the colors of Boyfriend and Girlfriend's outlines are based on the colors of their icons (cyan and dark pink, respectivly). Interestingly, Girlfriend's speakers are colored gray, and not dark pink.
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: Oodle is a [[SemiDivine demigod]] who is not only the host of a wacky game show, but (in this mod) is also willing to rap-fight a random 19-year-old human who challenges him after appearing in a dimension he created.
* DiegeticSoundtrackUsage: "Dimensional" contains lemotifs of the theme song from Season 1A of ''Animated Inanimate Battle'' at the start and end of the song.
* FriendlyEnemy: Oodle is nothing but friendly to Boyfriend and Girlfriend, as is willing to bring them back to their home dimension after finding them in the Doodleverse.
* ShoutOut: One of the [[CouchGag opening lines]] for this mod reads "[[UsefulNotes/{{Arbys}} All our food--keeps blowing up]]".
* SpeakingSimlish: Oodle's voice is a recreation of the Season 1A theme song's pulse wave.
----
!Trivia
* OutdatedByCanon: The Doodleverse seen in ''Drawn-Out Encounter!'' is based on how it appeared in "Smarter & Boulder", the only episode that showed said dimension by the time of the mod's release. The Doodleverse has changed in appearance in the short "Drawn Together", making this mod's depiction of the dimension outdated.
* SeriesHiatus: Development on an update to the mod was halted due to controversy surrounding the creator of ''Animated Inanimate Battle'' (which can be read on ''Animated Inanimate Battle'''s [[Trivia/AnimatedInanimateBattle Trivia page]]) that caused him to temporarily leave the Object Show Community.
* SwanSong: This was the last contribution [=FlakyMC=] (creator of the ''VideoGame/VsJavier'' mod) made to the ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin'' community, as he had left said community near the end of the mod's development.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: "Easel" was originally going to be called "Canvas", but was changed due to it also being the name of a song from a mod called ''Unfinished Business''.
* WordOfGod: According to [[https://images.gamebanana.com/img/ss/concepts/611cde0b5e5ee.jpg concept art of Oodle for the mod]], he is immune to [[VideoGame/FridayNightFunkinCorruption the Corruption]] due to his [[SemiDivine demigod]] status.

[[folder:Jugem Drones (Puyo/Murder Drones AU Fanfic)]]
!Main page (Fanfic)
->"''A story about a group of drones and their adventures in a science-fantasy world filled with magic, holograms, and [[BreadEggsMilkSquick digital erdrich beings]].''"\
--'''Description on Archive of Our Own'''
''Jugem Drones'' is a {{Crossover}} AlternateUniverseFic created by [=RabbitRiceBall=] based on the ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' series of FallingBlocks puzzle games. This fanfic reimagines the [[CastFullOfCrazy wacky cast]] of ''Puyo Puyo'' as robots from ''WebAnimation/MurderDrones'', set on a perpetually-frozen planet.

The story focuses on five drones--[[IdiotHero Amitie]][[note]]the sole Disassembly Drone, aka Murder Drone, of the main cast[[/note]], [[AudienceSurrogate Ringo]], [[{{Tomboy}} Arle]], [[GirlyBruiser Raffina]], and [[TheStoic Sig]]--as well as the two companions, [[TeamPet Carbuncle]] and [[EccentricAi Ec]][[EccentricMentor olo]], and their adventures within the AU's version of this ScienceFantasy version of the ''Puyo Puyo'' world. Being a crossover AU with ''Murder Drones'', however, the themes of [[CosmicHorrorStory cosmic horror]] with the Absolute Solver still apply to this world, and with it comes the side-plot of Ringo and Raffina working together with Ecolo in keeping the Solver within them in check while also figuring out a way to remove it.

The story can be read on [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/52486822/chapters/132780241 Archive of Our Own]].

!!"Why would you need a tropes list?"
* AdaptationalHeroism: In the ''Puyo Puyo'' canon, Ecolo is a villain who likes to withhold information from the hero(es). Here, while he still notably mischievous and likes to trick others, he's undoubtably on the protagonists' side.
* AdaptationalNameChange: Suketoudara is called Suketou''orca'' here, due to him being an orca here.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange:
** Amitie, Klug, Lemres, and Marle were made into Disassembly Drones in this AU, while the other human(oid) characters thus far are now Worker Drones. Also, Draco Centauros is a Worker/Disassembly Drone ''hybrid''.
** Ecolo is now a [[ProjectedMan AI hologram]] in the form of how he does appear in canon ''Puyo Puyo'', but small enough to fit in a Worker Drone's hands.
** Suketoudara is now an orca with robotic limbs [[AdaptationalSpeciesChange named Suketouorca]], but he still has the lips of his original pollock form.
* AllThereInTheManual: You can find more info about each character, including characters that have yet to appear in the fanfic, on [[https://puyodroneau.tumblr.com the official Tumblr blog]].
* AnachronismStew: [[EverythingIsAnIPodInTheFuture Sleek, shiny, sapient robots]] co-exist alongside hyper-advanced [[KillerRobot Killer Robots]] and a 8-inch floppy disk with a hologram projector built in.
* AudienceSurrogate: Ringo fills this role, being recently infected with the Absolute Solver by the time the fanfic begins and is introduced to Disassembly Drones for the first time when she comes to Primp Town.
-->''Ringo then turned to the disassembly drone, Klug. "Amitie sure wasn't lying when she said there were more stocky-looking drones around here, huh?"\
Klug adjusted his glasses as he spoke. "You mean disassembly drones? Indeed there are."\
"Disassembly drones?" Ringo inquired. "That's what they're called?"\
"Yeah, that's what we're called." Amitie chimed in. "I never brought this up because you were getting so scared last night."''
* BizarreSexualDimorphism: It's still present here in the Disassembly Drones. Amitie and Marle have legs that taper to a point (with Amitie having thinner thighs than Marle), while Klug and Lemres has boot-shaped feet.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
** Amitie and N are both friendly Disassembly Drones that are scatterbrained, but powerful (in Amitie's case, she's quite competent as a magician). The only difference aside from Amitie being the sole Disassembly Drone of the ''Jugem Drones'' cast is that Amitie isn't evil from the get-go while N performed a HeelFaceTurn near the climax of the ''Murder Drones'' pilot.
** Ringo and Uzi have the Absolute Solver, but that's where the similarities end. Uzi is a angsty goth, an EmpoweredBadassNormal who is skilled in hand-to-hand combat should using her Solver powers not be an option, and was aware of the existence of the Disassembly Drones by the time she encounters one. Ringo on the other hand is an otherwise normal Worker Drone who got caught up in the events of the fanfic, never met or even heard of a Disassembly Drone before meeting Amitie, and has a much nicer personality overall.
* ContrastingSequelSetting: The planet where the fanfic is set is as cold as Copper 9, but has biological fauna liek Donguri Gaerus unlike the latter setting. There also doesn't seem to be a mention of humans in ''Jugem Drones''.
* CosmicHorrorStory: Unlike in ''Murder Drones'', the slight themes of cosmic horror are introduced as early as the first chapter, as it focuses around the Absolute Solver.
* EccentricMentor: Ecolo tries to help Ringo how to keep her Absolute Solver powers in check, but his main method of teaching a lesson involves giving vague hints to her and having her figure it out herself form there.
* ExtraEyes / EyesDoNotBelongThere: This fanfic takes the idea of the Disassembly Drones' actual eyes being the bulbs on their headbands quite seriously.
* GenreMashup: Part ScienceFiction, part monster show (with the vampiric [[KillerRobot Killer Robots]]), part CosmicHorrorStory... and now throw light-hearted {{Fantasy}} elements as well!
* HartmanHips: Downplayed with Amitie, who has an appearance like a typical female Disassembly Drone, but with less curvy build including thinner thighs. Played straight with Marle, however.
* HealingFactor: Lemres is the only (non-"rogue") Disassembly Drone who uses the Absolute Solver to recover from damage. Marle uses filaments to accomplish this, while Amitie and Klug use a different program that achieves a similar goal without killing others.
* HorrorHunger: Subverted so far. There is an oil rig in Primp Town that allows access to oil for the Disassembly Drone residents without the need to kill their fellow residents.
* MysteriousPast: The Worker Drones that inhabit the planet the AU is set on have this, established in the first chapter.
* RedRightHand: Suverted like in the canon. Sig's left arm is that of a Disassembly Drone with WolverineClaws in place of a hand, but he isn't evil.
* ScienceFantasy: Combines ''Puyo Puyo'''s magic-focused {{Fantasy}} elements with ''Murder Drones''[='=] ScienceFiction and CosmicHorrorStory themes.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute:
** Raffina is similar to Doll in the regard that they are more experienced in the powers of the Absolute Solver than Ringo and Uzi respectively. While Doll is AmbiguouslyEvil and fueled by a vengeance towards the Murder Drones, Raffina is an AntiHero and a member of the main cast.
** Feli serves Cyn's role as the Zombie Drone of the cast that appear as shorter-than-normal Worker Drones, but while Cyn is a PredecessorVillain who is a {{Shell}} the Absolute Solver uses, Feli is more neutral and is able to control herself for the most part.
----
! Laconic
''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' reimagined as a ScienceFantasy with CosmicHorrorStory unfertones where everyone is a robot that came out of ''WebAnimation/MurderDrones''.
