18	* What's the nearest star system to the Sun? In the constellation of Centaurus, about ~4.3 light years from Earth (so around 40 trillion kilometers) is the Alpha Centauri system. There are three stars in the system. The most prominent are Alpha Centauri A and B, who are 10% more and 10% less massive than the Sun respectively, and orbit a center of gravity over 79 years, being somewhere between 11.2 and 35.6 light years away from one another (so about the difference between the Sun and Saturn to the Sun and Pluto). A lot further away at 13,000 AU is Proxima Centauri, a red dwarf that is the physically closest star to the Sun. Proxima has at least two confirmed planets orbiting it, and the other two stars might have planets of their own.

I personally add the compilation pics to clarify which incarnations people would be familiar with, even if it's from a work the profile author is unfamiliar with. It is also to prevent a bias picture for one god from one media, like some of the old Smite or Fate/Series profiles. But I also don't want to be a simple picture of a statue or painting alone. Some people don't like it and it's fine, it's your dissertation if you would like to add it or have someone else do it for you.
