In fall 2011, the fourth installment of the popular ''Roleplay/ChroniclesOfTheGods'' series was launched, a team-based battle known as ''Taskforce Sifuri.'' Two Nomads known as Moja and Mbili are contacted by a mysterious Remnant and ordered to track down Sifuri, a long-lost superweapon that has the power to defeat a rising evil. Two teams- one relying on science and the other relying on magic- are assembled, and the race for Sifuri begins...

!!''Taskforce Sifuri'' contains examples of:
%%* AbortedArc: Some, unfortunately.
%%* AirJousting: After acquiring some Hellion skyboards, having first removed the owner.
* AlliterativeName: The teams are sometimes referred to as The Merry Magical Mob and The Salubrious Society of Scientific Sensationalists.
* AllYourPowersCombined: The orks bring back an artifact from every different verse they get sent to, finding a way to incorporate it into their giant attack bug/squig's onboard weaponry.
* BattleAmongstTheFlames: The first fight divulges into this when Koragg gets knocked into a pile of trees by Sky after firing his Delta Enforcer at him, then gets torched by Robotboy.
* BigBallOfViolence: Once the initial encounter between the two teams was rerailed, this was used in the chat threads to describe the outcome.
* BiologicalMashup: The orks accidentally infected a baby [[Manga/NausicaaOfTheValleyOfTheWind ohmu]] with ork spores, turning it into a squiggoth/ohmu hybrid.
* BreakTheCutie:
** B.B. Hood, on discovering Dark Eldar weapons are designed to inflict pain first and kill second.
** Pretty much everyone on Science gets one after they get hit with a horrorfex grenade, causing them to experience their worst fears.
* CameBackWrong: PlayedForLaughs. Whenever the characters die in a challenge, there is usually something wrong, which is rectified just before the next challenge. So far, we've had age ups, age downs, GenderBender, becoming human, going blind, and turning into a [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic magical Unicorn Pony.]]
* CantArgueWithElves:
** Evidently the professed opinion of Kharak Steriel (a Dark Eldar zombified by Seiga), who is all too happy to remind Team Magic of this fact.
** Seiga herself gives off vibes of this, pointedly ignoring her teammate's protests, and killing the prisoners they had agreed to save beforehand.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Bigrench uses differently-colored grenades for different effects. Being an ork, whether he color-codes them based on effect or they have that effect based on what color they're painted is best left unquestioned.
* ConflictBall: The two teams initially come to a peaceful resolution. However, the desire to start a fight was so high amongst the players that Koragg broke character to attack Sherlock, only to resume his character again. However, the ball does get rolling when someone who is no stranger to this trope, Dalek Sec, {{invoke|d trope}}s this trope.
* {{Crossover}}: One of the challenges featured [[Series/DoctorWho Daleks]] masterminding a revolt in the world of ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender.''
%%* DeathIsCheap: Unlike the other games, there is a still a price. A low, hilarious price.
* EnemyMine: During the second challenge, both teams were attacked by an insane security system, and they declared a momentary truce in order to deal with it.
* EveryCarIsAPinto: It takes four of Ermac's Energy Balls to blow up a cop car, as Sec finds out the hard way.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Pretty much everyone is disgusted by what they see of the Dark Eldar.
* FlatWhat: Sec thinks this during the Neon Tiger challenge, when Ermac, a member of the opposing team who Sec had a fight with earlier that day, walks up to him ''while he's in a cop car'', and asks for a map so he can steal stuff.
%%* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Loki for Team Magic. Gavrill for Team Science.
%%* GadgeteerGenius: A common trait in Team Science.
* HeroicBSOD: Team Science has a collective one when attacked by horrorfex grenades, causing them to relive their worst experiences.
%%* HeroicComedicSociopath: Team Science has Gavrill and Bigrench (and calling either of them heroic is stretching the definition very thin indeed).
%%* HumongousMecha: Two Franchise/PowerRangers characters, one Sentai and Liberty Prime. This was a given.
* InterspeciesRomance: Ayumu and Lyna. One's a zombie, the other's an Egyptian Spirit.
%%* {{Jerkass}}: Kharak. His mistress Seiga to a lesser extent as well.
%%* KissingUnderTheInfluence: Maria, with Seiga. Eldar Painkillers are a hell of a drug.
* LeeroyJenkins: Team Magic is told (by a complete asshole, admittedly) to kill a sentry quickly. Atrocitus interprets this as "make it as bloody and painful as possible", alerting other guards to their presence.
%%* LostSuperweapon: Sifuri.
%%* MagicVersusScience
* MassOhCrap: The Dark Eldar on learning that their city is under attack by Chaos and Necrons both.
* MillionToOneChance: The Science Team's Locator just happening to land at the eventual destination of both teams.
%%* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: One of the Chaos sorcerers is hit by a spell that causes this in him. He helps the Seekers escape.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Robotboy, Sky, and Koragg all contributed to setting the entire forest on fire.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Eiji's view on Spider-Man (being a known Sentai character) and Sky (due to his Dekaranger counterpart Hoji). The two were confused by this, but the latter believed in the possibility of having another counterpart in a different universe.
* OffTheRails: The magic and science groups were supposed to fight each other in their first encounter... except they resolved things through diplomacy, derailing the main concept of the RP. But not anymore.
* ShipperOnDeck: Sec ships [[Series/DoctorWho Doctor/Master]], apparently.
* ShoutOut:
** Ermac's first fight in the tournament places him against a CaptainErsatz of Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin, complete with Stunner and BigWhat, then turns into a ''Film/PulpFiction'' reference near the end.
** Sky refers to [=BB=] Hood as the "girl with the [[VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom2 killer instinct.]]"
* UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny: Team Magic Vs. Team Science... However, it's {{averted}} when the characters make smooth talk with each other, much to the dismay of a couple of players.
%%* WeAreStrugglingTogether: Team Magic has a minor disagreement concerning whether or not to free Dark Eldar slaves.
%%* WretchedHive: One of the locations visited is [[TabletopGame/{{Warhammer 40000}} Commorragh]].
