| 4 | Anguirus and Rodan share some friendly banter, though the ponies can't understand them as it just sounds like roars and snarls to them. Despite all he has suffered, Garble revives and lunges at them, only for Rodan to backhand him to the ground and then draw a line in the ground with his Uranium Ray. Finally getting the hint, the dragons pick up their leader and run away, returning to their regular size as their greed is replaced by fear. |

| 6 | Mothra calls to them, and the two are confused when they hear Mothra's voice coming from a tiny horse-like creature and not a moth the size of a jumbo jet. Suddenly, energy bleeds off of Rodan's body while the energy Rainbow Dash gave to Anguirus leaves him and returns to her. Anguirus returns to his Earth Pony form, while Rodan becomes a Griffon, though one with his pterodactyl wings. Rodan has a lot of trouble moving and keeping his balance as he's not used to his new body. They ask what is going on, and Mothra says she and Twilight Sparkle have a few ideas. They confirm Rodan was the farthest one away when the black hole hit, which was why he arrived last. Gentle Leaf gets on Anguirus' back and nuzzles him, to his embarrassment. A scroll materializes in the air and Twilight reads it. It is a message from Princess Luna, telling about the intruder who attacked the palace and injured her. Horrified, Twilight envelops everyone with her magic and teleports them. |

| 11 | Meanwhile, the evil demon king Shadow of Red strolls through his hellish realm, Zenith. He muses that he had been killed before, but as long as evil and shadow exist, so will he, but he's weakened from his revival and must bide his time and gather his strength before he seeks his revenge. He sees a strange sight, an area of the burning, jagged landscape has been replaced by a floor of solid black, like polished obsidian. Curious, he approaches, and finds that the floor and everything above it is bitterly cold, in contrast with the hellfire all around it. He roams the edges of the floor and finds it has spread to his temple. Red sees his minions being slaughtered by a mysterious figure, the same one from Xenilla's nightmare. The figure says this world will now belong to him, and the black floor begins to spread. Enraged, Red engages the figure in battle. |
