Go To

Donald and Daisy take a vacation at Shangri-La, and get stuck there trying to work through Donald's anger issues, while the rest of the gang go to confront Lord Felldrake and Sheldgoose to get back the magical amulets.
----
* TheBigDamnKiss: Between Donald and Daisy just before Donald goes off to help the others.
* BigfootSasquatchAndYeti: The inhabitants of Shangri-La are a group of musically talented yetis, with a color scheme resembling the Matterhorn yeti from Disneyland.
* BreadEggsMilkSquick: After Donald overcomes his anger issues, the Yetis tell them that he and Daisy are now problem free, are free to leave Shangri-La, and that they've removed the invisible magic shock collars that would have kept them from leaving anyway.
* CallBack: Daisy chews out Donald about the last dates ending in disaster, being the reasons why she wanted to dump him.
* CharacterDevelopment: Donald learns how to control his unbridled rage after having his DisneyAcidSequence (thanks in part to Sheldgoose destroying Donald's amulet).
* ContinuityCameo: Scrooge [=McDuck=] (in his classic ''WesternAnimation/{{DuckTales|1987}}'' colors and voiced by Creator/EricBauza) makes a short appearance when Ari's device accidentally blows a hole in his money bin... all the way from New Quackmore.
* CurbStompBattle: Xandra VS Sheldgoose's security guards. She charges at them -- and one three-second BattleDiscretionShot later, she's beaten them both into a pulp.
* DisneyAcidSequence: Donald goes through an impressive one while fighting his anger issues, where the visuals briefly become reminiscent of the trippier parts of ''WesternAnimation/TheThreeCaballeros'' movie, and then turn into a rather surreal visual recap of the series so far.
* ExactWords: Anyone who comes to Shangri-La are guaranteed to leave "problem-free". Though, it's more binding than guaranteed. Simply put, you ''can't'' leave until you deal with all of your personal problems. In Donald's case, his temper.
* HeelRealization: After his amulet is destroyed by Sheldgoose, Donald experiences a vision that has him looking back at how his tantrums caused himself, and those around him, trouble. He finally accepts that he has anger issues and proceeds to relax, soon allowing him to leave Shangri-La.
* MagicallyBindingContract: Part of staying at Shangri-La. Luckily, as magical contracts go, [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1989 compared to trading your voice for humanity (which also nearly resulted in the destruction of the world)]], having to stay in a beautiful magical resort until all your problems are solved is relatively benign (if slightly annoying).
* MythologyGag: Donald's anger taking the shape of a hulking giant has been done before in the ''WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse2013'' short "[[Recap/MickeyMouseS3E19SplitDecisions Split Decisions]]".
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Sheldgoose destroying Donald's amulet is what caused the latter to overcome his anger in the first place.
* OhCrap: The rest of the group discovers that Sheldgoose has stolen the The Caballeros' amulets.
* ShoutOut: While not the same name, the episode title is similar to the location in ''Franchise/DuckTales''.
* TheShangriLa: Naturally, this time inhabited by a race of Yetis.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Ari uses a weapon to pierce through the barrier protecting the Sheldgoose Manor. However, it also pierces through the manor, across the city and all the way to Scrooge [=McDuck=]'s Money Bin.
* TookALevelInBadass: The Caballeros, after Myth/KingArthur's training, are a ''lot'' more combat-ready than before.
* WhatWouldXDo: When it's discovered that Donald isn't allowed to leave Shangri-La until he deals with his anger issues, everyone else wonder what he would do to deal with Sheldgoose. Basically, stop thinking and get it done.
