With Two-Face acting as a prosecutor and Bane the judge, Harley and Ivy get sentenced to life in Bane's prison: a giant pit in the ground. Meanwhile, Jim Gordon and Batgirl vow to take back the GCPD headquarters from Two Face.

!!Tropes:
* TheBigDamnKiss: After Ivy saves Harley from falling, they share their first kiss in a moment.
* BrawnHilda: Ex-cop-turned-Bane-follower [[RecurringExtra Cheryl]] has become a Venom-boosted Hilda. She was shown to be a couple inches taller than Harleen in the previous episode's flashbacks, and then grows maybe a foot or so taller when she turns on the Venom.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Before the HardWorkMontage, Gordon outright calls it a montage where they skip the hard parts of beating an alcohol addiction.
* CardboardPrison: ZigZagged. None of the cells in Peña Duro North have any doors. This is because a) Bane genuinely wants to focus on rehabilitation for his prisoners, and b) more importantly, they're in the bottom of a pit, so it's not like they can really run after that anyway.
* TheCameo: Professor Pyg shows up in crowd shots in the Pit.
* EvilIsOneBigHappyFamily: Bane at least still seems to actually believe that, seeing the way he runs his prison.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: Gordon decides to let Two-Face kill him because he feels he's useless, but Batgirl saves him.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: As Harley and Ivy are talking on-stage during the riot, the prisoners are continuously chucking junk past them, including a severed head.
* GunsAkimbo: Gordon charges into the police station dual-wielding pistols, popping Two-Face's goons left and right.
* HardWorkMontage: Discussed and parodied, as Gordon asks Barbara to help him with a montage where they "skip past the hard parts of beating an alcohol addiction and cut to the part where I'm clean". As the montage ends, Barbara is neatly combing his hair -- and the camera zooms out to reveal Jim still looking haggard, strung-out and unshaven, just slightly better-groomed and with a clean shirt.
* HeroicSacrifice: Harley lets herself fall with Bane so Ivy can escape, but Ivy is having none of it and swings back down on a vine to save Harley.
* HesBack: Feeling inspired after finding out his daughter is Batgirl, Gordon comes out of his alcoholic slump and takes down Two-Face and his men, taking back the GCPD. ''Single-handedly''. Because he's a ''damn good cop''.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Before Harley lets herself fall, she tells Ivy to get married, have kids, and name them after her (the boys and girls). However, Ivy goes back and saves her.
* ImpaledPalm: Gordon blocks Two-Face from stabbing him by letting the knife go through his left hand to save himself from being killed.
* InternalReveal: Barbara reveals that she's Batgirl to her father.
* KangarooCourt: Harley and Ivy [[LampshadeHanging lampshade]] that's what Two-Face is doing to them. Two-Face disagrees, since Bane is actually impartial and he even got them a lawyer, but the lawyer is Man-Bat and [[TheUnintelligible he can't speak human]].
-->'''Bane:''' Does anyone speak bat? I want to sustain or overrule, but it's indecipherable.
* MoodWhiplash: When the riot starts, Zsasz says that if they put their heads together, they can find a way out of the Pit... and he'll shank anyone that doesn't contribute.
* MythologyGag:
** Like most everything else about this Bane, the Pit is a humorous take on the prison from ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises''.
** Bane getting left falling into a flaming inferno (right after his Venom tubes get torn) [[WesternAnimation/BatmanMysteryOfTheBatwoman happened before]] in animation.
** Bane names his prison Peña Duro North, though the pit is a far better place than the barbaric hellhole the original Peña Duro was.
* OneManArmy: Gordon calling himself a damn good cop is an understatement, since he tears through Two Face's goons, and single handedly takes back Gotham City P.D.
* ShoutOut: The song that plays during the DC opening is similar to the opening theme of ''Series/LawAndOrder''.
* SilentCredits: Not counting the first few seconds (when the music that accompanied TheBigDamnKiss was still fading out), the credits are completely silent.
* SoProudOfYou: Upon learning that Barbara is Batgirl, all Gordon can say is, "That's my girl."
* SwarmOfRats: Ratcatcher sends his army of rats after Gordon.
* TakingYouWithMe: Harley was planning to take Bane with her by falling to their deaths, but Ivy saves Harley at the last second.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: This is Harley and Ivy's reaction when their attorney turns out to be Man-Bat, who fumbles with his papers then enters a "Not guilty" plea with unintelligible screeching.
* ThisIsSomethingHesGotToDoHimself: Gordon retakes the police station without Batgirl's help because he wants to prove he's still a damn good cop.
* UncertainDoom: After getting halfway out of the pit, Harley lets herself fall with Bane and pulls off the tubes from Bane's body so he ends up losing his Venom. While Ivy is able to save Harley from the fall, Bane plummets to the ground where there's fire on the bottom. It's unknown if Bane survived the fall.
** [[spoiler: Subverted in "Lover's Quarrel", where Bane is shown to be stuck at the bottom of The Pit and very much alive.]]
* TheUnintelligible:
** Man-Bat's screeches are impossible for the characters to understand, even though we the viewers know he's actually good at his job.
** As Bane falls back into the flaming pit, he says something that we can only hear as gibberish.
